I was doing a whole-house renovation 9 years ago and needed custom kitchen cabinets, built-in bathroom vanities and built-in cabinetry in my home office. I researched several kitchen remodeling companies. Showcase Kitchens was not the least or most expensive but seemed like the most experienced. They also came highly recommended by friends who had used them for their own remodeling and my general contractor. I worked with John Starck who listened very carefully to my needs and wish-list. There were no pressure tactics, only terrific advice. He addressed my needs for all the rooms he worked on and brought up ideas and issues I had never even considered. Besides the beautiful cabinetry and workmanship which looks just as good today as the day it was installed, the greatest benefit was John’s advice. He counseled me on the best layout for my space, which ones were necessary and which items were a total waste of money. John’s advice was completely on target. He and his staff were extremely reliable and went above and beyond my expectations. Of all the vendors I worked with during my home renovation, Showcase was the best. Every part of the process went smoothly and was on schedule. All of the employees are professional, exacting, knowledgeable and courteous. Building a house or renovating an existing one is an extremely stressful undertaking. So many things can go wrong or be delayed. Showcase was one of the few vendors with whom I had no problems. Working with them was a pleasure. One of the greatest benefits of working with Showcase is that I was not forgotten once the job was finished. A few weeks ago 9 years after installation, I noticed that the pull-out drawer for the garbage pail stopped self-closing all the way. This is a drawer which is opened and closed many times during the course of each day. I contacted John who sent a technician over right away to diagnose the problem. He ordered new rails which were installed within 2 weeks at no charge and without any hassles. If you’re going to be doing a renovation and have a need for good quality cabinetry, I highly recommend using Showcase Kitchens. They are the gold standard in excellence and customer satisfaction.
