Very fun MNHS historical site worth visiting. The house and grounds are well kept and the tour guides are very kind and funny.
They have truly kept this historic home, and its grounds in tip top shape. It's a challenge to get to, but one you're there, be sure to explore the State Paek as well
Went to the Halloween tour and had a lot of fun! Great staff and beautiful location.
The Sibley Historic Site is a cool slice of history tucked away in a very beautiful part of Minnesota. It is a wonderful place to learn about Minnesota's beginnings, the fur trade, H. H. Sibley and what life was like during his time. I highly recommend a visit.
Cool and there have state trail ...
Golden limestone homes, stories of native Dakota, the fur trade, early European traders and beginning of Minnesota . Pleasant surroundings, a quiet respite, tucked away and almost forgotten. Walk the grounds and down to river. The river glides by and the hum and roar of MSP in the distance.
Love Minnesota
Interesting piece of history. Right off the bike trail across Hwy. 13. Across from lucky 13. Worth a little detour.
Great hour tour. Tour Guide Rick was knowledgeable and entertaining. Early Minnesota Territory/ Statehood history.
