I had a really pleasant experience here. Everything I had was well cooked and had a ton of flavor. The general tso’s chicken was my favorite fried so well. The Mongolian beef was also really flavorful as well. The service was very warm too. Definitely returning
Loved this place! This is the high quality, reasonably priced Chinese restaurant I’ve been looking for in DC for years. I thought the food was great quality, not too Americanized though not completely traditional either. Staff were friendly and very attentive, and wildly efficient. After we put orders in, the food was out in five minutes, maybe ten max. Also, best handmade dumplings I’ve had outside New York City.
Great wholesome satisfying Sichuan cuisine. The majority of patrons are Chinese, always a good sign. Good choice of vegetarian dishes. In the hallway pictures of politicians and other infamous people visiting the restaurant
Wife and I came here for some good chinese food. This place did not disappoint. Food was great and you got a LOT of food for your money. Wish we had a spot like this back home! Next time in D.C. they are a must. Vegetarian options: All of there dishes can be served without meat.
The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, the staff was very friendly, and they were also impressively quick to get the food out. The portions were also big and thus the value for price is really good. One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to!
Authentic Chinese place smack dab in the middle of DC. Lovely food and the mabo tofu is to die for don't die for it though please. Staff were accommodating for us reserving a larger party of 13 people and able to configure tables for us. Overall very positive experience.Food: 5/5
Ordered delivery. It came very quickly, packed well and was delicious. The Generals Tso was lightly breaded and perfectly fried. It also had a little spice to it which made it perfect. Picture shows really chicken.
The place was great. The food was delicious. We had salt and pepper squid, Hunan style bean curd, string beans, Ma Po Tofu. All of the dishes were delicious. Though I would watch out for spice levels, but if you are okay with spicy food, you will enjoy everything. The atmosphere was great. I liked that there wasn't a lot of space there. It felt cozy and comfortable because of that. Even though it was busy, it was quiet enough to have a conversation. 100% recommend!
We stumbled on this restaurant after we came to this area to try Chifa DC. It was unfortunately closed temporarily and we were hungry. This place was the closest so we went to try. We fell in love with the atmosphere and saw lots of patrons enjoying the food. We got delicious tea to start and the meal just took off from there. The dumplings were amazing and we just loved every dish we got. The service was quick and attentive. We never ran out of water since they always refilled the cup right away! We will definitely come back!
Great place for a Chinese feast. They have an enormous menu with just about everything on it some things that my less adventurous eating friends would not be able to stomach. I had the beef noodle soup, which was very good. Most dishes were so large that we had to get takeout boxes for them.
