Always a great time at Sideout Volleybar! Sand volleyball courts, large covered patio, ping pong table, bags, dog park, plenty of seating and a full bar. And now, a food truck! Did I mention the massive, free parking lot? We just love going to Sideout. Play a friendly game of volleyball or just hang out... you can't go wrong.
Awesome setting with the volleyball courts and other outdoor games! The beer selection is incredible as well—found one of my favorite beers from San Diego that I've never seen anywhere else! Depending on the night, a court reservation might be a good idea if you're trying to play early.
Fun space to hang out and drink craft beer. Thank goodness, there is no need to play volleyball. They do have lots of patio games like giant Jenga, giant Yahtze, giant chess, corn hole and more. But I appreciated the selection of craft beer on draft and in cans. They have big plans, but is already loads of fun.
Great atmosphere, courts, bartenders, frozen drinks. All good things, and only 4 minutes from my house so that's a plus!
Full bar! Extensive craft beer selection. Patio games and 3 sand volleyball courts. Friendly bartenders. Super chill place. Come check it out!
I love this place!! Joined a league through Houston Sports and Social Club, and the games were here every week. Immediately enjoyed the vibes, good drink selection and friendly people. Super easy to book courts not part of the league as well. Just a very chill, friendly environment, and people are generally open to merging groups to play. Also easy parking. I tell anyone and everyone how much I like it here :
Best volleyball bar in Northside. Maybe Houston... move over Wakefield Crowbar. Try the frozen drinks and craft beers. Great prices!
Great place, exactly a you'd expect. A few courts, laid back bar, nice bartender, and volleyball. Ample parking, especially for only 3 courts and a not very big bar, but I have no idea how that could be seen as anything but a huge positive. The food truck wasn't going, but it looked like they were preparing for the evening service. Overall, great place.
I can only speak for the volleyball courts, didn't order/get anything from the bar. We arrived around 10pm. . . The courts are very dimly lit. Enough to play but other places definitely have brighter lights. The surrounding area/ parking lot space had no lights at all and is very dark. . . We were all questioning if we had gotten to the right address. Plus side though is that the courts were pretty much empty by the time when we had gotten there, compared to other places such as Third Coast, Powderkeg or SportsCreek that are usually packed on Friday evenings.
Great place for sand volleyball. They have three courts that can be booked by the hour. Multiple leagues use their courts for co-ed league play. The bar is fully stocked for drinks before or after. They have TV's playing sports around the deck. They used to have a food truck, but not after covid.
