The best fencing club in Northern California, and one of the best in the country! My daughter has been fencing here for 8 years now, and SVF has cultivated her love of fencing and her personal growth in a caring way, with a growth mindset. Aleksei, Yulia, Vil, and Andrej are elite coaches who have given my daughter outstanding support at the club, and also at competitions, first at the local competitions when my daughter was young, and now at the national competitions. In addition to the elite coaches, there is a critical mass of elite fencers at the club, at all levels and in both genders, which is essential to improving as a fencer, as the quality of practice at the club is also dependent on who at the club you fence with. She is privileged to practice against so many other elite fencers. Fencing has taught my daughter so many life lessons, and it has been her favorite activity, and the outstanding instruction and support she gets from the coaches at Silicon Valley Fencing has been so integral to that experience.

We joined SVF when my son was 7, now he is 16. It’s a sport that not only helps my kid to grow physically, but also mentally. With great coaches and high reputation in the field, SVF is a top tier club for kids who are interested in fencing.
