They are very racial towards African Americans. They have a nasty attitude. They tea & coffee is trash. They don’t have creamer. Plus they got a rat problem in basement where those beans & tea bags are stored
lovely atmosphere and i always come here to grab passion fruit green bubble tea since they do great job making it. a really nice place to get work done after a long day
Lovely selection of teas. Yes it’s ~$15, but you get a pot of tea with an enormous amount of leaves like as much as I’d use to brew a kitchen sink worth of tea, so if you kept getting hot water refills, this yields quite a lot of tea!
In the mood for a pleasant and restful coffee break while shopping and sightseeing in NYC’s Chinatown? Then the Silk Road Café is the perfect place to relax while observing the busy hustle and bustle outside on Mott Street. The interior is a lovely, open space with large tables with modern and asian decor. Western style coffee is served, as well as a full range of teas, pastries and bagels. Truly a genuine New York gem.
We loved this place! Tea is really delicious try different mixes prepared on the spot , but be aware that you will not get your ginger tea if the waitress doesn't like ginger
Fantastic place! Great environment, nice jazz music playing at a moderate volume, perfect to sit down to chat with a friend or to work on your computer. Super tasty bubble teas and the waffles were amazing. Great customer service too.
Unexpected finds sometimes are the best! We walked in for coffee in the morning and were charmed by the little place. Big choice of coffees and teas. We also had delicious pork dumplings. Definitely recommend this quiet place in the heart of ChinatownDine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
Nice ambience, good coffee, te selection. Relaxed music. Only be aware that if you want a “real” cup instead the “to go” cup let them know in advance…..
I loooooove this place so much! It reminds me of tea shops in Taiwan. The staff is super nice and it’s the best place to chill and get some work done. The tea is always amazing!
Ordered a lemon tea iced, and went in expecting a black tea with lemon and got this drink, which I surprisingly ended up enjoying a lot! Kinda tasted more like lemonade than tea but still very refreshing on this hot day. Also, excellent prices for Manhattan. We got this and an iced coffee for less than $10. Enjoyed the choice of a colored straw!:
