Silver Lake

Nice pretty mountain lake, very popular though so you will encounter lots of people. There is a good path around the lake that makes for a good walk. There's some nice facilities with several picnic tables and good clean restrooms.

One of the great things about this trail, is that you can maintain an easy hike around the beautiful lake, or branch off to more challenging excursions. Whether you have little ones with you are not, it’s a wonderful experience for all types of nature seekers.

Easy, beautiful little hike. Pretty much any age can enjoy the scenic view and mostly bridge covered trails.

It's the best place for a easy walk with kids or possibly a wheelchair. The path is maintained and we saw a moose, two deer, ducks, fish jumping, a hawk catch a fish and other birds. We took a scooter and a wagon but found out from a nice ranger that scooters aren't allowed, it's a walking path. BEAUTIFUL

Very nice place !

We drove up here and there was till a lot of snow. We had a great time walking around the frozen lake, tried to follow the trail as much as we could. There was a lot of slick parts but it was really fun. Gorgeous views.

Great place to hike with kids. I'd rate it an easy hike with an amazing view. Totally a scenic hike if that's what you're looking for. Not really a hike in my opinion, but the view is way worth it.
