The staff has very little knowledge. I ask a question and get inaccurate info. The "director" of this facility is rude. He refused to answer any questions. The pictures of the pool are a joke. The pool has been closed since last year. The overall management of this facility is lacking in vision, leadership and accountability. The city or county needs to step in and retrain the few employees that they can train and terminate the supervisors and managers. Your employees can only perform at the level you train them and at this facility it's obvious the leadership team needs replacing... Safety at night. There are numerous lighting issues around the facility. The parking lot and rear of building are ripe for crime due to the poor maintenance that management has neglected. Love this place. A safe place for kids to go to after school. And after hours with their parents too.
Great place, price is right, super clean, love that they're are 7-8 lifeguards all the time! You can bring in your own beach stuff. Highly recommend
I went up there to play basketball and was told 17yrs old and under. This is the only recreational center that doesnt allow adults to play basketball. I never heard of something so stupid before. Might as well close the place down or change the name to Mesa Childrens Center
Front desk staff could be more attentive. Ot seeemsbad though they are more interested in basketball and boys then helping get my son from his class. She was so distracted she could not hear my son's name and called him Danger.
Nice public pool for the family
Lots of different classes offered. The instructors seem knowledgeable for the beginner and intermediate levels. The gyms are well equipped, fairly clean, and not too crowded when I've been. The staff is helpful and always available. We've been to the pool a couple of times, and it seems fine. Just about what you'd expect from a public pool. It can get crowded during the summer.
The Silver Mesa Recreation Center is a great place to go and beat the Las Vegas heat. It has a very large pool with a great slide!! Me and my son got on the slide at least 12 times. It was a blast! I did have a couple of down sides. One was the fact that there were quite a bit of loose tiles at the bottom of the pool. I dove in and back up to the surface. I didn't want any of the kiddos hurting there feet. The other down side was that the pool only goes to 4 ft all away around. Other than that I give this place a thumbs up and we will be going back. Oh one more thing, the price is great too! 3 bucks for adults and 2 bucks for kids and you can bring your own snacks. Now that you got the scoop go get your splash on!
My son loved this pool. He keeps talking about it. Everything was clean and the staff members were nice and friendly. You can take snacks and food. It was a great experience and I hope to take him back again.
I appreciate all of the services they offer. My family has benefited from the affordability of the summer camp. I felt safe with him there he was supervised and always had great experiences. Truly a blessing!
