Lots of helpful staff, beautiful well-lit building is great for reading, and after checking out a book you can head down to Kefa Cafe in the bottom floor to enjoy good coffee while you read. Feels lively, but I haven't found it too noisy.

Beautiful building with great, wide selection in a prime location. Only downside is the staff is astonishingly unhelpful. I couldn't find something and multiple staff just kept pointing me back to the place it was supposed to be, ignoring when I told them it wasn't there. For some reason nobody would actually come and look.

This is the loudest library ever! I highly recommend the study rooms on the 4th and 5th floor. But make sure you use the smaller rooms (1-4 people) as they are fully enclosed. Do not use the bigger ones (1-6) as they are enclosed with these pretty but impractical cage like walls.  All sounds from the vacuuming to babies crying can be heard. So bring noise canceling headphones. But having the sun is nice when it's beautiful day. 

 Otherwise be prepared to be annoyed. At least you do have free parking at the Wayne street garage.  But you have to leave after 9 on weekdays to take advantage of this. Wknds are free all day.

The kids and I are at Mocomcon at the Silver Spring Library we had a ball great place feel with are kinds of books and a great spot to study.

Noisiest library I've been to. I don't know why sound proofing wasn't considered, especially with the all glass exterior. I expect it will only get worse once the purple line runs through the front. Genius idea to have a light rail train run through a place that should be quiet.
