Silver Star Washateria

This filthy little place has about the same percentage of broken machines as the apartments behind it, where they actually get a great deal of their business from. This review is based upon a bad morning experience with the one-eyed man who works there. To me, he came off as rude and disrespectful as those people who run the beauty supply stores. They are willing to take your money for horrible service, but not willing to treat the community like people. There is no reason for that man to be yelling at customers because his machines are not properly maintained. Most people who come here, live in walking distance, some still drive. I would rather catch the bus with my laundry than continue to be disrespected in this filthy establishment.

I've been going to multiple washaterias in my area the last couple weeks since my washing machine broke and this by far has been the best!!! The prices are lower than other places and it seems like the wash cycles are a little longer and that my clothes actually where cleaner than other places. Not to mention the service from the employee was exceptional he was very helpful and warm and made me comfortable doing my laundry here. I also think its cool that it's right next to a do it yourself car wash and a cleaner so while ur waiting on ur clothes u can wash your car or take certain clothe items to be dry cleaned or tailored very happy with my experience I will be back for sure!!

Washers and dryers always broke. Machines take your money. Do not go here. Find a Queen Laundry or better place to wash your clothes.

Medium washers are alright, the dryers are a bit old! Tried drying my blue Jean's and I put about 3$ of quarters in that just one dryer! Think another washateria would be cheaper in my opinion. It would be nice if they had really big machines. Most of the dryers are also out of order making it difficult to dry, all my clothes was scattered as I dryed making it a bit inconvenient.

Now normally when I come in here it's pretty peaceful place to get laundry done. But today its not today there's a young playing loud music on a portable speaker and it quite inappropriate there's ole folks in here man get some HEADPHONES . Anyways other than that its cool lets just hope he wont be here when I return lbvs

Mmmmmmm... not sure most of the washers, dryer don't work

It's so dirty in there most dryers and washers doesn't work. I sometimes use that washateria because it's by my home.

Open later, machines could be updated, or more repairs, made. Too many not working with clothes left inside?

Guy behind the counter is rude as usual. Vetinmise are usually rude and nasty!! Sick of their rudness. My first time there in awhile. Last time too!!!!
