Enbridge stopped supporting billing so Simply Comfort called many times to let us know we had to pay them directly. They where in a difficult position and I dealt with it. Renting a heater for $20 a month makes you want to buy one.
Stay away from these scammers. Home trust and Simply are co-conspirators. They put a lien on your property and create hassles when you have to renew your mortgage or sell your house. Be aware that there is a class action suit against them for their notorious practice of preying on the elderly.
This company is pure robbers. They ripped me off a few years ago when two guys convinced me to sign a contract to replace my old furnace, which worked just fine, saying that I will benefit from it as it will use much less gas. Unfortunately I was in a big depression at that time and too soft to be convinced. Since that time I pay about $100 extra every month compared to what I used to pay with my older furnace. And there is no way to get rid of the contract because the buy-in option which they offer is in fact even more exorbitant. The buy-in price which they ask after several years of using the furnace and paying to these robbers is just the price of a new furnace. Just robbers and scammers.Services: Thermostat installation
If I could give a lower rating, I would. STAY AWAY from this company They're also known as Simply Green The multiple bad reviews below are 100% accurate. All it takes is a quick Google search to realize that this company prays on the elderly and other vulnerable people. My father mistakenly signed a contract back in 2015 for air conditioning equipment. Being in his 70's and not technologically adept, he took the technician's advice in signing a contract for the equipment. Big mistake. He was not informed that this was a 10+ year contract. To add insult to injury, the technicians came back 5 MORE TIMES, each time warning about how the house was not safe, and proceeding to upsell my dad into signing onto contracts for things he absolutely did not need - that includes things like water softeners, air purifiers, and a mysterious charge called connected home. With each visit, it seems like they found something new wrong with the house and convinced my poor dad that he needed to fix. Fast forward to 2021 and 3 requests for a buy out package later, we still have not received any buyout information. Every agent I speak to about this spits out a completely different ballpark buyout cost as well. Just today on the phone I asked to speak to a manager and the agent's response was "we don't recommend speaking to managers about buyouts because they are busy with other things, other emails" exact words. The agent even admitted that he gets calls like these all the time and that the feels bad about the circumstance that so many find themselves in with this company. Dont even try asking what each line item on your bill means- they won't even know their own services if you ask!!! This is absolutely criminal and it makes me understand why door to door sales have been banned in Ontario. With combined payments approximately $300/ month added to the Enbridge bill, I would expect them to have some compassion and try to settle the matter. Alas, it seems they rely on scamming old people to run their business. Stay very far away, unless you would like to throw away tens of thousands of your hard earned money.
AVOID THIS COMPANY and any services they offer. the time they have to charge your credit card monthly no delay but no proper services receive from them.my first issue started that my credit card was stolen and I left them a massage to give them the new credit card number and got charged for 1 day delay which was from them. second issue,I called them many time to come and check my air condition beginning of the summer they cancelled on me frequently and no call after that .3rd and worth in the winter time my tenant were without heat for more than 2 weeks which they supposed to change the part but didn't because I had to give them the permission for changing the part and they even didn't bother to contact me and let me know that they need the permission and even didn't tell my tenant, and at the end their respond was "I am sorry". today I called to cancel my services with them and the first thing they said YOU HAVE TO PAY $99 FOR CANCELLATION AND IT IS IN THE CONTRACT.so if the charging is in the contract and I am responsible for it who is responsible for not giving the proper service to the costumer. now its up to you if still you want to get the service from them do it and re grate. at the end
WHATEVER YOU DO CHOOSE A DIFFERENT COMPANY. This is the most unorganized and unprofessional company ever. I called them around 1:30 pm on feb 6, 2017 to notify them that my furnace was not working and they told me a technician would call me within a few hours to schedule an appointment. NO TECHNICIAN EVER CALLED. I got a call around 7pm from a customer service representative asking me if my issue was resolved and I said no no one has called me all day. I finally received a call 20 min after to schedule an appt. obviously the first representative did not send the proper information as the second representative was under the impression that the issue was already fixed. My house has been at 10 degrees since yesterday and it is freezing!!! This is an issue that if we are paying monthly for this service should have been fixed ASAP. The company offered me nothing but an “I’m sorry”. Pathetic. Worst company ever, if I could give this 0 stars I would.
we got helped from Ravi Ravindran from Simply Comfort, came into my house and gave me amazing service. From the beginning to the end he had incredible customer service skills. He explained all the concerns he saw on our bills and helped us get rid of them all. From my family, I thank Ravi for the incredible service he gave us. Simply Comfort is an amazing company which helps with our all 4 product what we looked for so long furnace, thankless water heater, Air purifier and water softener. They are a company with amazing offers on hand and easy to understand, no BS services. We got the the furnace upgrade which included the NEST thermostat . I personally don't think you can get this from anyone else. It was a amazing offer that me and my parents both thought was incredible. Thank you so much Simply Comfort for the amazing offer and customer service.
Simply Comfort is an amazing Company! They are Fast, Efficient, Knowledgeable, Reasonable Prices and best customer service out there. My family and I dealt with Nathaniel Girmaye, who had top notch customer service He had amazing customer service and was very detail oriented. He gave us his best recommendation and what he thought would be the best options for our home. He was able to answer all our questions, and provided us with all the documents and walked us through how the process works. They worked around our time and fallowed up with us to ensure our unit was working and running mint. We ended up going with A/C, Furnace, and Water Heater. We looked at different companies but no one could beat them and their customer service. We felt like family, and they took care of us. They have earned a customer for life!, we will not go anywhere else. Thank you Simply Comfort Team and Nathaniel Girmaye for making this the best experience possible. 100% satisfaction Guaranteed.
