Nice neighborhood park with lots of grass and trees. Good playground for kids equipment is best for ages 5+. Tennis courts. A few picnic tables. Parking is on street.
Me and my kids love this park big open field and playground for play. Safe neighborhood and good environment.
Sister City Park is beautiful, fun, welcoming, and overall a well-kept place. When you first travel here you are immediately met with a sign representing why this park was built. In this photo you can see that this sign is referencing all of Albuquerque's sister cities, Alburquerque, Spain, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, Chihuahua, Mexico, Guadalajara, México, Helmstedt, Germany, Hualien, Taiwan, Lanzhou, China, and Lusaka, Zambia. All these places are called our sister cities because of the relationship we have with them. The relationships we have with these cities are formed when officials or someone with assigned importance from Albuquerque and a community in another country or territory sign a formal agreement on behalf of their communities, creating a “sister city” relationship. If you like long open fields, a playground for you or your kids, a tennis court, or just a picnic table, Sister Cities has you covered. With over 3 acres of soft grass and beautiful trees surrounding it, Sister Cities Park is an amazing place to go with your family and friends. I know that I have enjoyed coming here over the years, whether it's playing soccer with my brother or playing football on thanksgiving morning, this park has always been an amazing place to go for taking a break and to take my mind off of things.
Nice stop off of I25, medium size playground with lots of climbing equipment, plenty of open grass for sports, 4 fenced in concrete tennis courts and lots of trees for shade with tables. A long walkway goes around and through the park, great for everyone.
First visit to this park. Play equipment for ages 5-12. Three tennis courts. Safe and clean.
Beautiful park in a nice neighborhood everybody that visits there is very friendly and welcoming
We had a picnic in the park. The grass was soft and wonderful to walk barefoot on. The green space was large and many parts of it have trees and shade. We saw an exercise class taking place. We saw families walking around and playing on the playground. We saw others picnicing. The birdsong was beautiful . We will be going back.
A quiet and enjoyable place, perfect for a picnic and have fun with your family and friends!
Good place to have a picnic in the shade. Too bad there are only 2 tables. But u was glad we had a blanket to sit o . Playground: Minimal equipment to play on. I think park was designed for soccer or tail rather than for the neighborhood to enjoy. Such a shame. Restrooms: NONE. Dog-friendliness: As long as it is only the perimeter not their special soccer of yafl field or tennis courts Picnic area: Bring your own blanket. There are only 2 tables
It was peaceful. But be careful of some stray homeless people my friend and I had to chase off some man trying to talk to children.
