They were SO nice and very quick. Everything was hot and ready. We got the duck curry, fresh rolls, and potstickers for only $28 then they added a surprise free dessert!! This was our first visit and it was delicious!! I ordered on DoorDash but didn’t get the chance the leave a review so I wanted to leave one here. I’ll definitely be coming back and you should try it too :
It's to-go only. Trying the fresh rolls, papaya salad, drunken noodles and spicy fried rice with egg and fried tofu. Food is not bad at all. Thought it might be spicy but I could handle it.
I got the appetizer combo and drunken noodles spicy level 3. First off, service was exemplary, the gentleman was genuinely kind and had such a sweet energy. The prices were more than fair for the quality and portion size. The satay chicken which I took because it was in the combo and had experienced dry and bland at other restaurants was actually delicious and ended up being one of my favorites! The drunken noodles were seasoned perfectly. I also asked for crispy basil on my noodles and they were very generous with it which made my heart and tummy very happy! Love!
This restaurant is delicious! They know spicy. We had the garlic vegetables and chicken hot basil. Delicious! The mango sticky rice was delicious please do yourself a favor and order that. The gentlemen who runs the place is a sweetheart. So kind!!! Will be back. They are only doing take out right now but have tables out front for you to enjoy the food there.
Love this place! I order takeout from them almost every week. The food is always great and the owner is the best! He is always so friendly and attentive. I highly recommend their drunken noodles. And they give me a free mango sticky rice dessert every time :
The food is fantastic. So easy to place a phone order. Absolutely love how they use boxes for the togo orders! - However, the real treasure is their superior customer service. So friendly every time I visit. Loved watching them greet one of their regular customers with a hug.
My go-to Thai takeout place in Portland! They have the nicest staff and the food is delicious every time. They give the most amazing complimentary mango sticky rice with each order. I definitely recommend this place for casual neighborhood dining.
We came on 1/6/23 for dinner. Our expectations were high as the menu presented several really exciting options. The iced coffee was too sweet with milk already added. We don’t tolerate lactose so we asked for just plain black coffee. Again too sweet. We ordered the Tom Yum seafood salad. It looked good but it had too much protein materials and hardly any lettuce to neutralize the mixture. The seafood didn’t taste fresh and it was short on seasoning. Didn’t have much lime flavor either. The other item we ordered was the Jungle Paradise. It was labeled as “house specialty” and it didn’t have coconut milk. It was not good at all. The seasoning was not balanced. Some are way too much and some are not enough but there was also a bitterness. We received a complimentary dessert of sticky rice with fresh mango with coconut milk and sesame seeds. This is usually our favorite dessert but way too much sugar again. We left leaving half our dinner. Not coming back. Parking: The parking lot was full so we parked out on the street. The street was narrow.
We came here to dine in but sadly, had to do a take out due to the Pandemic. Luckily we live nearby so it wasn’t a big deal. At the door we were greeting by an old man who was taking the orders. We ordered two of our favorite soups- Tom Kha and Tom Yum and asked for an entree recommendation. The guy told us the Nua Yang and we went for it. We were surprised to get a few different boxes of deliciousness. The owner gave us an additional mango sticky rice desert for free! All the food was really good. The soups had a lot of flavor, the Nua Yang was delicious, moist and soft. Green Papaya salad was a nice refreshing side and the mango desert was absolutely fabulous! I would definitely recommend eating here if you are craving Thai food. 5 stars all the way.
I want to really like this place. There are quite a few positives like it being conveniently located, and the amount of food they give you is well worth it. My only issue is that there's not much flavor. Very bland. I don't know if that's because we ordered no spice, but there was no flavor at all. Had to add some Sriracha or some plum sauce to get something. I will try again.
