Skin Illustrations Tattoo Shop is run by award winning tattoo artist Eric Backlund and the home of Joshua Adair, Dave Bauer, and Shawn Most

Story

After 10 years of working at the shop artist Eric Backlund has finally taken over Skin Illustrations Award Winning Tattoos. Eric has won trophies at the following conventions: Philadelphia, DC Tattoo Expo, Richmond, Baltimore, Asbury Park, Shane O'Neils Steel City, Wildwood, Lehigh Valley Tattoo Expo, United Ink Tattoo Expo, and Inked Out NJ. He has also been featured in the following tattoo magazines: Rebel Ink, International Tattoo Art, Skin and Ink, Tattoo Magazine, and Tattoo Revue.

Other artists at are shop include Zachary Bohanan joining us after his apprenticeship in Georgia. Zac has been tattooing for several years now and specializes in custom black and gray work. Stampy Goblyn recently came back to the shop after working at other places for a few years! She is also taking care of all of your piercing needs so stop in to see her about a tattoo or a piercing. Joshua Adair also has joined Skin Illustrations, he has been tattooing for several years, is an amazing musician, and great person. We have a lot to offer you with our talented team of artists at our shop, you won't be disappointed.

Our shop is conveniently located outside of the Joint Base McGuire, Dix, Lakehurt, 40 minutes from the beach and Philly. We specialize in all types of tattooing from realistic color portraits, to traditional Sailor Jerry style tattoos, cover-ups, and custom drawn ideas based on what you bring to us!
