Anusha and the staff at skin specifics are amazing. I am so scared of needles, but Anusha knows how to help me with my anxiety, she has magical hands and knows how to calm me down. I love love the level of intimacy I feel each time I go see her. Not long ago while I was having a procedure they helped feed my car meter, since I didn't put enough money. Who does that these days? Thank you guys I love you!!!

The best place I know of as a medical spa. The experience with all the people there was welcoming and the nurses showed a lot of respect. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested.

I began seeing Anusha at Skin Specifics 4 years ago at the Santa Monica Blvd location, then later at the Foothill Blvd location when I moved to the eastside. Both offices are pristine sanctuaries. At 29, I was interested in taking preventative measures against the signs of aging in order to maintain a youthful appearance into my thirties...which I have. I found her in thanks to overwhelmingly positive reviews on Y--p and boy did I luck out. I'm hoping to return the favor by writing this, maybe point a few of you in the right direction!
At every visit, Anusha listens to my concerns and determines the best approach (for me, it's been botox and/or a filler) and then proceeds as conservatively as possible to avoid a "frozen" or fake-looking face (she's actually refused to do certain services at certain times when I'm perhaps losing perspective, rather than over-injecting my face for money's sake). She sees every face with an artist's eye, taking each individual's bone structure and anatomy into consideration. The results are natural and beautiful and so specific to who YOU are! Even the people closest to me have no idea, marveling at how "ageless" I continue to appear. (I am in the entertainment industry and this is indeed an alias to protect my one and only remaining secret--though Anusha deserves world renown and recognition and references galore, this is currently the best I can offer until I'm brave enough to "out" myself!)
The botox smooths the frown lines and crow's feet and prevents them from deepening; the filler provides lift in my cheekbone area to prevent drooping cheeks. As I get older, I will explore additional services, confident that I'll love the results.
To top it all off, Anusha is a warm, intelligent person and has the most beautiful way about her. If you are anxious, she will put you at ease, as will her lovely and amazing assistant Theresa. My visits there feel meditative and relaxing due to their calming energy and kindness. I will continue to be a loyal patient for another 4, 8, 12 years and so on, because with Anusha, I know my face is in good hands.

I have been going to Skin Specifics for 6 years now after moving from NYC. Don't waste your time anywhere else. If looking natural and refreshed are your cosmetic goals, then look no further than Skin Specifics. Anusha is kind, listens, and really takes into account everyone's individual needs and face structure. She's not afraid to say no if you've been going OCD on something that is better left alone. Theresa handles bookings/reception and is incredibly sweet, as well as, über accommodating. I have done most all treatments offered with satisfactory results. Eyes are a tricky spot, but Anusha takes her time and tweaks if necessary. 👌🏼💯
