The Pavillion was absolutely nice our family raved on how nice it was and wanted to know how they could rent the space We all enjoyed the day at the park
The Slidell Station was a great location to begin our train adventure. The station was clean and had a fun old train vibe to it. We were concerned about parking at the station for a week, but there were no problems when we returned. The police station is located just a few blocks away.
This is more of a “stop” than a station. None of the doors accessed the building besides a non-affiliated restaurant. There are no benches or even a platform for waiting. You literally stand beside the track. If possible, just arrive/depart from the New Orleans station instead.
Bathroom was locked. Could not be use. Yes you can go inside. You just have to look.
Station was POORLY Marked, No Outside or within perimeter noting where station was. I had walk almost around the entire building to find the entrance next to a Huge Central Air Vent. Other passengers had to flag me In. No Attendant was on duty or was a sign mentioning that.
Crash on to Veteran's Feastaval
