Nice cheap place to do your laundry. They have their own change machine, that can break 5, 10 and 20-dollar bills into quarters. They have their own detergent, bleacher and softener display if you need to buy your supplies. There's also a vending machine if you wanna grab some quick snack or drink. The price is affordable, $3,25 for a medium sized load of clothes, and ¢25 for 6 minutes in the dryer, multiple cycles maybe needed to dry heavier clothes such as jeans, blankets.
The guy working here was great, he offered to help and explain, we had a lot of laundry from holidays and had to use multiple machines, we stayed for over 2-3 hours and there were plenty of people coming in and out, the guy keeps the place clean and is constantly ensuring this, there is a restroom for usage of customers, a small vending machine with snacks, and parking was available in the street. No troubles at all.
The guy who works there is super helpful. Loved his sense of humor. Clothes came out clean and smelled wonderful.
My first visit to this place was fine. The repairman-employee showed me how to use laundry pods in their washers and was very accommodating. During my second visit, however, I had a horrible experience with the same and another employee. The machines only accept quarters, so after handling so many dirty coins my hands were visibly dirty. Wanting to wash them so I could fold my clean clothes with clean hands, the repairman-employee refused to let me into the bathroom saying he was cleaning the sink. Ok, fine, so I waited. But then once he finished, he still didn't want to let me wash my hands. It wasn't until after I asked repeatedly that he eventually relented, while grumbling and irately exiting the bathroom. Really? It takes 30 seconds to wash your hands. At 8:20pm, he wanted a customer to wait with a small child so he could clean the entire bathroom so he could go home? Then, once I finally got all my clothes folded, the last employee, and older man rushed me out the store at 8:45pm in the pouring rain with my child while I waited for my Lyft to arrive. Really? He couldn't let us wait inside for 5 mins? During my first visit I was told the last wash was at 8:30pm, so they can close by 9:30pm, which is consistent with their Yelp profile. Not only was it rude to put a single woman and a young child out in the rain 45 mins before the published closing time, but it was extremely dangerous! It was dark outside and the fact that I said I was waiting for a Lyft makes it clear that I must not live so close. If you're looking for a laundry facility, do yourself a favor and support a facility that respects its customers.
This place is great. Was staying in a hotel near union station and took a scooter to come wash a large load of clothes. Place opened at 8am, is super clean, has a friendly attendant on duty. Small vending machine for snacks, and laundry soap for a buck tide. Has a couple benches to sit outside or you can sit inside. They have 18 regular washers $3.25, 6 larger washers $6.00 and 3 super huge washers $9.00. Then 16 large dryers .25 and 4 super huge dryers .50 that run for 6 minutes and work very well, my large load of clothes fit in the $3.25 washer and dried for .75 completely. With the dollar box of soap I spent 5 bucks. The place is safe and in a good neighborhood. While they appear to have parking on the street it is residential parking no store parking lot. Place is great.
This is my 2nd attempt to come here in the past two days. My laundry machine is broken but I've been here years ago. The hours listed are not accurate. Yesterday, I walked into the laundromat at 8:10 p.m., and the guy told me I couldn't wash because they were about to close. Wasn't rude or anything about it, I've seen him growing up from the community. Today, 7/29/24 at I attempted to walk in, and a different person was extremely rude. I walked in, and he out his hands up and yelled, "we're closed" in front of the entire laundromat. Yeah, I understand, but how embarrassing? Out of my awkwardness and feeling so embarrassed, I just said, "Okay, thank you." I will not be returning here unless I absolutely have to. The times listed do not seem to be accurate, and I don't want to play a guessing game. Customer service could be better all around. The people who work here are not the friendliest or welcoming rather. I only came here because there's no good place to wash around here and due to my washer machine being broken and I would like to support a local, black-owned business. I used to know the owners' family members, but I am not sure if it has changed since I moved away and since returned.
This is a very small, neighborhood laundromat. They Only have a few large washing machines. Limited seating and limited space for folding clothes. Attendants are very helpful and noticeable on site. They will go in detail to explain the features on the newer machines. Seems to know the regular customers and can spot the newbies. The bathroom is clean and stays locked but the attendant will open for you if you need it. After staying a while you begin to notice an aroma of murky water smell but very slight. Street parking is available but read the signs carefully because some spaces are 'Zone 6 only' at certain times. Operating Hours were not posted but the attendant said they are open from 6am to 8pm most days.
Great laundromat! Plenty of open machines. Great prices 3.25 for a medium wash, 25 cents per 6 min in the dryer. People are friendly and helpful. There is also a machine to change dollars into quarters.
This is a clean facility. The machines are in great shape and the cost to wash and dry are all very good. They have huge washing machines and dryers that are very fast and efficient machines. It's in a nice area and the owner is cool. For this to be a smaller facility, it feels roomy due to the positioning of the mirrors and machines. To each his own but for me, it's my favorite.
This is a great laundromat. We had an abundance of accumulated laundry and were able to get it into two of the largest washers and one medium. The gentleman working here was helpful in getting us started. I will be returning with some of my largest quilts and blankets. Machines take quarters Change machine can take $ 1, 5, 10 & 20 bills Detergent $1.00 per box large machine needs 2 Largest machine $9 per load full black garbage bag Medium machine $6 per load Small machine $3.25 per load Dryers about $3-4 per load Vending machine with tea, soda, snacks
