Loved this place! Full disclosure: we only went there for milkshakes and fries! But this place left a wonderful impression. It had a total throwback vibe: featuring red booths and tables, colorful murals and cute malt glasses that make you feel nostalgic and special at the same time! The shakes/malts I'm sure I am totally messing up by interachanging these terms were incredibly delicious and creamy! The portions are very generous. Keep that in mind, especially if you are buying for kids. The fries were fresh and tasty! The service was amazing. Our server Christina was so wonderful! You could tell she loved what she was doing and enjoyed providing her customers with a great dining experience. She was kind to all, remembered names and had great suggestions when prompted. We will definitely be going back!
I liked Snuffy's and so did my child! It's a pretty fun place with so many options. The food is traditional american style... Burgers, hot dogs, fries, shakes, malts. Etc. Ive had a couple meals here, including the chicken tender sandwich, bacon burger, etc. It's all been good and there shakes are very goo too, they make many flavors and are more classic in design and flavoring, see pics for menu.
Cute retro diner. The food was good, I ordered off the retro menu Mon-Thurs sometime in the afternoon and it was much cheaper than the regular menu. I would highly recommend it! Very good. You have to walk through the worker's area and down some stairs to get to the bathroom, but it's not too big of an issue.
The waiters are like the ones you'd imagine in the diorama of an old train track diner. Real people that would gladly share their stories. The menu is just as 3 dimensional, the cook a good friend who will use what's in the pantry to suit your needs. And most importantly, when the frosty metal cups are carried out, that malt is damn good.
I hope we never lose our Snuffy's locations in the Twin Cities! It is hard to find a good 50's themed burger/malt joint. You always leave the place way too full, but with a smile on your face. Drop in, get a fantastic burger and over-sized, delicious malt!
Great little malt shop with a classic feel. They have really good burgers and malts and good price. My wife and I always try to stop by when in the area. They also have very friendly staff.
Burger with Pepper-jack cheese was decent; the fries where ok. The malt was fantastic as was the service. Premise was cleanly and tidy.
Just as tasty as others here mentioned here. The old, diner vibe and upbeat servers put it over the top. I'm going to have to try the Pizza Burger next time. That looks like a can't miss.
We were recommended Snuffy’s by a friend. Arrived with our family and the waiting staff brought our tinies ages 6, 3 and 2 two of every kind of picture with a big glass full of crayons. The food was fantastic. Shakes were amazing and cost was expected. We also shattered a salt shaker on the floor and they made us feel silly for feeling guilty. Cannot recommend this place higher. If you have the time; swing by, treat yourself and support the spot.
Stopped by on a warm day during my fiancé and I's Third year anniversary date for a malt. The server was patient with me as we were deciding and trying to figure out what we wanted. Surprisingly I finished the malt I always feel like I never do! We sat by the window and it was bright out so the server offered to pull the shade down for us but we told her it was okay. But it got a little over bearing so I pulled the shade down but it was nice of her to offer : we enjoyed the simple, family friendly atmosphere and would recommend it to anyone! Enjoy :
