I went in thirty minutes before they closed on a Monday; I signed in with no appointment and within 3 minutes my number was called. The building requires masks and it was very clean. The process of getting my name changed on my SS card was quick and efficient. The guy who helped me was really nice and friendly. Thank you!
I applied for a new Social Security card. The first time they missed up my address. The second time I went and applied again. They said I will receive it in 5 business days. whole month when bye and still nothing. I’ve called them so many times no answer. Finally got through after three days of calling and they don’t know what happened to my application. They told me to come back in the third time and fill one out.
Lady at green window does not treat people with empathy or respect. More Compassion, empathy and kindness would go a long way. Employees should try to empathize more with people coming in here. Long wait times. Rio Rancho social security has shorter wait times and employees seem nicer.
My ssd case was transferred to Richmond CA because they apparently couldn’t get to it and now I’m worse off there, my case is backed up even more. The mishandling of cases needs to be looked into. People are dying waiting for ssd approval.
Immediately after entering the building the staff was rude and disrespectful. Another poorly run government building, Lacking any respect for the people that pay their wages.
Cold Hearted individuals work here... We called in to have My boys reinstated on ssi due to emergency situations. I have just gotten out of a 12 year abusive marriage. I tried to explain our situation and the information online i found and she wouldnt even entertain it. She refused to help any further and when asked to escalate the call she refused. Her employ # is #G04RE58
If I could give zero stars I would. The woman in window 38 was rude and dismissive and refused to give her name. She ignored our paperwork. Marked our application as suspect and refused to file our paperwork. We completed everything online and she refused to look at it. She insulted my child and refused to accommodate for our inability to hear her through the mask. Be prepared to be treated terribly for no reason. And then be threatened if you ask questions.
I just wanted to know if my paperwork was received and maybe a little comfort. Being disabled every change is scary but not only after 2 hours told to call back in a week but rude about any concerns I may have. Compassion can go far :I called back and got the most kind, compassionate woman. She made me feel better, knew exactly what I needed to know and hear. She was AMAZING
After waiting outside in line, without a single word from any employees, for an hour and half, I finally made it inside. When I made it inside, I was informed I’m not allowed to carry my pepper spray as it is considered a weapon. As a young female, I always have it on my so I completely spaced it. Instead of allowing me to just throw it away or have them take it away, they told me that I had to take it completely off property. I parked a few blocks away so I asked if I could still have my spot back when I come back. I was told I would need to go to the back of the line now stretching around the corner. The employee had absolutely zero empathy or logical thinking. Maybe I wouldn’t be as upset had I not had to pay for parking and take off work early in order to meet their 9-4 hours. Can’t wait to go back again on Monday for round two.
All personnel from the security guards to the workers are extremely rude with major attitude and won't listen to you or let you talk. No compassion what so ever.. You guys should be ashamed for treating people on social security like my grandma that way. I know you guys deal with all types of people, but everyone deserves a fair treatment until other wise. What goes around will come around as we all will be on social security one day! Who's ever is in charge needs to read all these reviews and hold their employees accountable!
