The worse social security office ever. I came in to see someone because I keep getting letters threatening to cut off my benefits if I don’t respond. Now that I’m here I have to sit for a hour and a half to see someone. I ask the representative there what is going on and she says there is one person taking walk ins, as if they pick up the phone to make appointments. They are so ridiculous here it’s crazy! Only in the black neighborhoods.
I've been contacting a rep at this office and I have yet to receive a call back since August. Everytime I call I get someone else or another location and after saying I was reporting this person my account was updated. After waiting another month for a response I called and again spoke to someone at a different location and found out they sent the correspondence to my old address and I haven't lived there for 9 yrs. I gave them my new address and they never updated the system. I hope I can get better results after I contact corporate
I don't wanna give any stars. This is really ridiculous. I just need to update my last name to my married name and each time I call it gets disconnected. Y'all gotta do better towards people this is crazy. Y'all want that paycheck but don't wanna do the work. Do better social security.
The US government is in decline and that is reflective in the call center at this SSA office. They have conveniently set up a phone system that rings and rings and then goes completely silent. It's unreal that this is supposed to be a professional governmental institution. It's almost cowardice from dealing with the public. Answer your
They don't answer the phone much. It's annoying cuz I'm trying to get the papers for updating my son's school and Iep information to get his check back on. They cut him off this month and how we suppose to make an appointment and they don't answer the phone. They mind as well open the place back up ‍
Horrible response time. SSA employees will not pick up the phone. I am a U.S. Department of Labor employee and our agency opens our doors twice a week to the public with emergencies!!!!
Didn't go to the office... But I just spoke with a very pleasant and professional Mrs. OUM. She patiently and professionally addressed my concerns and queries. Kudos!! Greatest customer service in awhile!
Lack of customer service support & if you have to submit paperwork you will be waiting over an hour & half. This is ridiculous. They need to hire more people
They don't answer the phone and when they do it hangs up my case manager is never available I've been waiting since last year for some kind of response at this point I need a supervisor number
Mr. Peterson is so warm and welcoming. He is thorough, covers all of basics with great detail in his explanation. As with any Soc. Sec office, there's a wait. But, with patience, here, the personal experience with the staff is wonderful. If you're in kind with them, they will reciprocate your kindness. Bottom line.
