I had my first surgical/general anesthesia experience at Phoenixville hospital on 3/8. I was a bit nervous having never been under general anesthesia before but everything went very well. I don't remember going into the operating room so I think I was out before I made it in there and I woke up comfortable without feeling sick afterwards, just a bit woozy but that's normal I think. So I wanted to say thank you to Dr. Leftow and his team I'm sorry I can't remember their names for making me comfortable during and after surgery and for making my first experience a good one.
I found Dr. Edmund Marcelo to be wonderful and he deserves a special shout out from me!! I have an extreme and probably irrational fear of veins & IV's. The thought literally consumes my body with anxiety and fear until I just pass out. Dr. Marcelo took my fears seriously and was definitely extra in his care. He went above and beyond to make me at ease and comfortable. I couldn't have gotten though my surgery without him. Eternally grateful!
Putting collections without any call warning or anything when I’ve made payments the company does not answer the phone. They double charge and are unresponsive.
Paid for the anesthesia in full the day of my elective surgery. Months later I am getting nasty calls from a collections agency demanding a balance of almost twice what was contracted. This is the second time this has happened. Completely unprofessional, avoid these people at all cost, they’re out of their minds.
Received an epidural for both by babies from this anesthesia group and can’t say enough good things about my experience. The staff members were comforting, kind and highly skilled. My deliveries were smooth and without complications. Thank you SHAC.
I had a wonderful experience with this anesthesia group when I had my baby. I was able to get my epidural which worked amazingly right when I needed it. The anesthesiologist was kind and professional. Highly recommend!
We have continued to get a full bill from these folks because they are submitting someone elses insurance instead of ours. We have submitted the correct details twice by mail and once by phone. HORRIBLY time consuming medical billing practice.
Warning: if you are a patient at Jeffereon getting an anesthesia, ask first if the anesthesiologist is an employee or an outside consultant who is going to never send you a bill and go right to collection agencies.
They sent me one invoice 3 months ago. I forgot about it, then a collection agency is calling me demanding payment without and invoice. Great representation of how messed up the healthcare system is.
I had Eye surgery at Wills and I woke up under the anesthesia while Doctor was performing the surgery on my Eye. Painful.
