John is the best! My cousin had found him through Yelp and recommended him to me when my laptop suddenly wouldn't turn on. He was able to look at my laptop the same day and provide me with options. I decided it was better to get a new laptop and migrate to a Mac. Through the process, he was supportive and knowledgeable and helped me with any questions that I had. He is kind and honest and really knows his stuff. His pricing is also reasonable. Definitely recommend.

I needed my battery replaced on my 2015 MacBook Pro 15 in, as well as some speakers replaced. I looked around then decided to give Soho a try. John was able to complete the repair in just a few hours as I had come in early in the day. He also quoted me a price cheaper than another repair shop. In total it was $380 for parts and labor for a battery and speaker replacement, completed in less than one day. A very fair price and an excellent job. Highly recommend.

My almost 2 yr laptop bought online from Best Buy started making loud, high-pitched screeches and sounded from time to time like something was grinding. Also it was getting hotter than usual. I took it to the guys at BB, and was told BB needed to take my computer for 3 wks, charge $85 for diagnostics, send it to the mainland for repair, and charge up to $300 to fix it not including the $85 diagnostics fee. I then took it to John White at SOHO, and he immediately ID'd a problem with the fan. He took my computer for a couple hrs to ID the serial number on the part. Then he texted me to come pick up my laptop while he located the part. He said laptops like mine commonly have problems with the fan. He knew it the second I turned on the computer. About a week or so later, John called to let me know the part had arrived from CA. I brought it in, and he installed the new part that same day, and a couple hours later, I picked it up. $198 for the part, labor, tax - my computer doesn't screech, grind, or burn up any more. Highly recommend John White at SOHO. He's responsive, does what he says he'll do.

John is truly a nice person. He finished his work really fast and perfectly! I'm thankful that he's here. Take care his office is upstairs.

Fixed my bone head mistakes uploading IOS I didn’t need, and restored the previous IOS Apple desk top, Fixed and upgraded an older Windows laptop, built a computer for my granddaughter that saved me substantial money and she is has been using it for 2 years now for school. She is a sophomore. He is generous with answering question and will offer suggestions to make things better. Prices are fair and services is great. I have gone to Soho several time with all the families computer problems Mac,, Windows, laptops and desktop tops and 3 families have not been disappointed. 5 stars is not enough in this competitive business. He deserves a higher rating IMO.

John is absolutely superlative. He provided us great service, promptly, with good communication, and transparent pricing

John turned my unpleasant experience of having my hard drive quit on me during a work trip into a minor inconvenience. Basically it never happened. His work is worth the price.
