Solid Gold Yogi

Love this place. It is right in the mix of Bushwick Brooklyn and feels very ingrained with the vibe of that neighborhood. The space is rustic and has a vintage feel while still being modern. There are many yogic events outside of yoga itself singing bowls/workshops. You will end up taking a good class and can get a good bite to eat before your next stop

Solid Gold is such a treasure—I’m so grateful for this wonderful neighborhood studio. Leslie is an amazing instructor and calming presence. The classes are the perfect mix of breath and movement-focused, and I especially love when Leslie reads short, insightful excerpts from books aloud during the closing rest period. I always leave class refreshed and with new perspective. My husband and I have been attending remote Zoom classes throughout the pandemic and they’ve been so crucial during this hard time.

I am so grateful for Solid Gold Yogi, for Leslie and all the teachers. I had practiced some yoga prior to finding Solid Gold, but never found a studio that felt right. I was practicing here for about a year when March 2020 happened, and since then have been practicing virtually multiple times a week with my monthly membership. Leslie and all the teachers have somehow managed to create a special space even through Zoom, and the upcoming winter would be much harder to think about if I didn’t know this space would be available to me everyday. All that’s to say - I highly recommend!

First time practicing in a studio since COVID, and this was amazing. The space was warm and welcoming and supportive. The COVID protocol made me feel safe to engage with my practice as I wanted to, and the class was simply awesome. Definitely coming back for more!

This yoga studio is unlike any others I have been to in New York. It is so welcoming and warm that I feel completely comfortable despite still being a beginner. I think the owner has done an incredible job of creating this space and building a community for anyone to practice yoga. I recommend anyone to attend. Thank you Solid Gold Yogi!

This is like my favorite yoga place ever! I admit that originally I was gonna do that thing where you studio-hop and do that special first-month discount for like 3 different studios, but I got really hooked on this place because it's so calm and warm and welcoming. It's a beautiful space — there is a mesmerizing yellow light bulb glowing out front that I like to stare at! They have a really nice variety of teachers — some do the same sequence every class which is my favorite but some "spice things up" every time they teach, too.

Solid Gold Yogi has been a lifesaver! With the convenient live streaming of the the classes I've been able to practice yoga from the safety of my home. It's provided the peace, relaxation and connectedness I've needed during this crazy time. Love Solid Gold Yogi!

This place is amazing! all the teachers I've had are so welcoming, the practice is immensely relaxing. I look forward to coming here and getting an escape from all the stress

I personally don’t do yoga, but the business owner reached out and made a wonderful gesture to my wife after getting to know her during the month membership I bought her as a gift for moving to the states. A business that puts back into the community and cares about their customers is one that should be rewarded with lifelong patrons. I definitely will be recommending to friends in the neighborhood.
