Richard Boyd couldn’t have seen where his vision would one day lead the small Pasadena pest control company he purchased in 1958. Fifty years later the company has grown to become a source of effective, affordable products for professionals and homeowners across the country.
Starting as local pest control company, Ford’s Pest Control grew to become Ford’s Chemical and Service in 1976. Later, in 1985, Control Solutions, Inc. (CSI) was created to distribute Ford’s products to the professional and consumer markets.
Ford’s success and growth in formulating PCO, Animal Health and Consumer products drew the attention of Roussel, which acquired Ford's in 1989. Following the sale, Control Solutions continued the tradition of local customer service thorugh it’s four Solutions Stores.


Today the four Houston area Solutions Stores continue serving pest management professionals and homeowners by remaining true to Richard Boyd’s original vision from 1958: seek out and distribute effective and economical solutions for customers.
