Absolutely horrible company! They’ve been holding on to a GAP refund for longer than their “8 weeks” processing time. Never answer their phone, left plenty of voice mails. No one gets back to me with an answer of where my money is. It’s over 1k, and during these financial hardships, they hold on to peoples money. Will never ever do business with anything related to this horrendous company. Should be ashamed. -1000% do not recommend
I dealt with a dealership in Chattanooga, TN which I was lied to by three people these ppl the corporation would not call me to try and fix the problem. They got their legal team involved you can goto nissian of chattanooga east bbb complaints you can read how I was treated by the gm. I would not recommend any sonic automotive dealership.
I can't understand the low appraisal offer for my 2020 GMC Sierra Denali. Mr. Alan Heidenreich was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would have purchased the 2018 CT6 Platinum Edition if it wasn't for the very low appraisal of $49,000.00 for my truck.
We had the worst experience ever for such an upscale dealership. Their corporate office was no help. We’ve left several messages and no one has gotten back to us. Beware this place is a rip off and you will get scammed. We purchased 3 cars, one for me and two for our boys who went off to college. We had an issue with all 3 cars. One of the used cars from their echo park dealership completely died. Needs a new engine. We’ve reached out repeatedly. Keep being told to call Vicky Comer which obviously is a joke. Went as far as asking for Mr. Bruton Smith the owner and still nothing. We finally decided to turn this into a legal matter. All 3 cars from Sonic are parked and will not be driven. Several people told us to go to Hendrix so we tried them out and purchased 3 brand new cars from them. We’ve experienced the absolute best car buying experience. Told them all about our Sonic experience and they were not shocked at all. I definitely highly recommend staying away from this place. We’ve also shared this experience and review on social media since we have very large followings so the message is spreading quick. Buyers beware. Stay away from here!
I have been a Loyal customer of Sonic Automotive since 2005 when Larry Hamilton was the GM at Honda West Now GM@ Cadillac W.Sahara He taught me how economic And reliable the Honda Civic was, I, Have bought several Civic's since. The GM at Honda West Now is Goardon, He has been with Sonic Automotive for many year's and Always takes Care of all His Customer's!. He's My Huckleberry! . Wanted to share a great buying experience from Sonic Automotive/ David Waterman / North Central Ford in Texas. I purchased a used Ford Explorer a few months back in March. Truck was delivered as is and I love it. It is a 2016 model with higher mileage, 76,000+. After 2 weeks the touchscreen stopped responding. After some troubleshooting it turns out it needed to be replaced. $1000 to repair...no warranty....I reached out to David Waterman at Sonic and he went the extra mile for me. He worked with the dealer and helped to negotiate a 50% credit to the repair. It was unexpected and above and beyond my expectations. I’ve purchased a few vehicles from Sonic in the past and I’ll do so in the future. If you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle and want an honest and transparent experience....then look no further than Sonic and David Waterman!

Incredibly easy process once again. I've bought more than fifteen vehicles from Sonic dealerships and referred countless more friends. I went for my last purchase to the new Echo Park store and once again, the experience was phenomenal. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and the Manager came over to introduce himself as well. Had the most wonderful experience with Sonic Automotive. We purchased a new car a couple months after my son was born, and the Sonic team was so efficient and kind and ensured I didn't have to wait at the dealership with my newborn son more than necessary. Highly recommend!
