I tried Soul Taco because it had good reviews. I got the beef taco with mango pico on corn tortilla. The corn tortilla was super good, the meat was tender and the pico was delicious. There salsa was also very good, however, your paying almost $5 for a taco and the meat, toppings to tortilla size ratio is off! I didn’t get much meat in my meat taco, as delicious as they are I wouldn’t buy this taco again for the price. It’s over price for the amount of meat you get in your taco. That’s a huge disappointment since the food is actually good.
This morning, I was excited to receive my order of 2 George Clinton’s and 2 Aretha Franklins via Uber Eats. The presentation was beautiful, but as my husband and I began to dig in, we noticed that grease was dripping from the taco, our hands and from our chins. We were so hungry that we pushed through the meal to find a silver lining in the meal, but the sheer amount of grease eclipsed what promised to be great tacos. I should have taken beginning photos. The napkins that padded the bottom of the bag of our order were also saturated with grease and I am now typing from a slightly grease-smeared phone. I’m not sure if I’d be willing to try again, but I hope that the cook can see my message and improve greatly in this area. Immediately. Perhaps it was only our order that was prepared this way—a fluke.
Never had tacos like this but it was worth trying. It was a good amount of food. Very fresh. The macaroni and cheese needed more flavor but the other ingredients made up for it.
Stopped by today for lunch, and the "Real Muther Clucker" did not disappoint! The filling of this taco could easily be divided up into 3 smaller tacos. I've had some of the breakfast tacos previously, and they are also delicious. Soul Taco is definitely one of my favorite neighborhood spots and has lots of outdoor seating.
I had the brisket taco, and it was delicious! The corn tortilla was thicker than what I've had at other taco trucks seemed to be handmade and was good. The staff was friendly. Nice taco truck!
This place is amazing. It is right behind the coffee shop and when someone recommended the coffee shop to me, they also mentioned to try the Taco food truck. I have had some tacos in my day but this spot is a new favorite of mine. I had the #2 The George Clinton and the #3 The James Brown. They were both so much more filling and bigger than I thought they would be. So much flavor and the price was perfect. I also got a special Easter cupcake that was so mouthwatering with the coffee that I got. I will definitely be back. They keep the same hours as the coffee shop so you need to go early but truly worth the price. They got a new faithful customer out of me.
I Love tacos! and was excited to try these but, I was VERY dissatisfied. I had street tacos, which you can find all around this area, the tacos were filled with pico and onion, and literally tiny pieces of minced meat that's what it seemed like It was more of a vegetarian taco! I mean the worst! I will stick to the more authentic places around this area, and avoid this place.

We worked with Dawn and her Soul Taco team at Wicklow Heights for a private event this past weekend. She and I had spoken a few times prior to the event to discuss the menu and making the experience for our guests 'Covid safe' - ultimately deciding to just keep an open tab at the truck, allowing our guests to order as they wish directly from there. The process was seamless - she kept us updated on our spends and allowed us to cap the tab to keep within our budget. More importantly - the food was amazing!! We had chips and salsa out on the table for our guests to nibble on - the homemade chips were the talk of the night...so delicious! The tacos were equally good - all of our guests said they enjoyed everything! Thank you so much for helping to make our party a success!
You will finds me here every Saturday morning with my family! Soul Taco has ruined me in the best possible way for any other breakfast taco! The small menu packs a punch especially since there’s a long list of add ones so you can make your taco however you like! I typically get the James Brown and only recently did I find out the chef makes her own brisket! Do yourself a favor, get in your car and go get one of there mouth watering tacos right now! You will not be disappointed and if you can’t make up your mind about what you want, ask for a chef special for a truly unique taco! Quality ingredients make for quality food! Also a shout out to the knowledgeable and friendly staff who alway have smiles on their faces, even behind the mask!
