On the day of my appointment I was on my way when I received a text asking if it could be bumped back by 30 minutes. As I don't look at my phone while driving, I saw this after I had already parked. I little irritated by sub late notice, but understanding that things happen, I agreed. Got another text a little later asking to push my appointment back further. As I was already in the area, didn't have other plans, and had been looking forward to a professional massage, I agreed. Went in about 15 minutes before the appointment, there was no one in the waiting room so I went ahead and filled out the paperwork. Waited until almost 20 minutes after the twice rescheduled time, and was getting up to leave, when she came out and said she was ready for me. After all that I was really in need of a good deep tissue massage, but it was such light pressure it didn't really help much. Honestly I wish I'd saved the money and the headache and just asked my wife for a massage.
If I could give less than one star, I would. I took a day off from work to get massage. I had an appointment at 8 a.m. the massage therapist called and rescheduled for 2 p.m. which I was fine with, things happen, yanno? I walked 10 minutes to my massage. I got there early.. waited. Waited some more. 10 min past my rescheduled appointment I decided to leave. I straight got ghosted by this massage therapist. Waste of time. The only thing she got right was my refund. Massages are suppose to be relaxing. This process was stressful and a mess from beginning to end
I bought a groupon for a 60 minute deep tissue massage and made an appointment for noon. I was finally called back at around 12:35 and my massage didn't start until around 12:45/12:50. It was far from 60 minutes as it ended around 1:20 as well as far from a "deep-tissue" massage... Although the woman was very nice, I am extremely disappointed with my purchase and the experience.
Worse experience trying to get my appointment confirmed! It was a great massage and facial for a wonderful Groupon Promotion price, but the lady was extremely unprofessional and had to reschedule my appointment TWICE and after the last time she called me to reschedule my appointment, I showed up early to wait an additional 45 minutes for my appointment she already rescheduled TWICE! This place was in a good area and a nice building, but her little room she rents out to do her work was just beyond NASTY! She has paperwork and products such a mess and the floor was pretty nasty too having stains all over it. The whole rescheduling issue and her making clients wait an extra 45 minutes after the time they had their appointment booked was just a overall disappointment and flat out unprofessional and down right RUDE. She didn’t get a tip from me at all and I do not feel bad at all. Will not be going back to Soul Tree and left the same review on Groupon too.
Was very disappointed today after emailing at noon that I wouldn't be able to make it because I had a neck injury which happened this morning. When I didn't receive a response to the email, I called and left a message. When they called back they left a voicemail -they said they were sorry but policy is policy and that since I didn't cancel within 24 hours, they went ahead and redeemed my groupon. No other offer or understanding of circumstances. Policy is policy. This would have been my first time with that therapist and was really looking forward it; I will consider it a loss and as soon as my neck is better, I will purchase another massage elsewhere. Ultimately, just not very mindful or considerate. I understand we all have our valued time and money, but it appears from other reviews they've done some cancelling of their own...just not professional period.
Don't waste your time. I called to make an appointment, and I didn't hear the woman's name. I asked her to repeat it, and she just wouldn't. I asked her several times in different ways, and she wouldn't tell me. THEN she hung up on me. Healing massage is a special thing and the relationship between massage therapist and client should be infused with respect. Put the care of your body in the hands of a person with more personal maturity.
Do NOT purchase the Groupon for this place. I showed up earlier this week for an appointment that I booked online, and a person from another business located in the building informed me that the owner to Soul Tree has not showed up to their unit for a year! The informant told me that she sees a few people every week wonder the building’s halls looking for the massage business, only to be left without services since this Soul Tree business apparently does not exist anymore. Save yourself the trouble, and give your business to a different place.
I booked this massage because my husband works in the oilfield and was needing a deep tissue massage and he said the massage was okay but it didn’t exactly do it for him , not only was our first appointment rescheduled last minute once he arrived for his 1:30 appointment it wasn’t over until 5:30 , what made it awkward for him is the lady wouldn’t stop talking..about her being lonely..her ex African man.. and then trying to walk him to the car ! Guess I won’t be rescheduling
DO NOT GO HERE! This place is horrible. First you can not get a hold of her, ever, no matter how many times you call. There is also no waiting room. You are left standing in a hallway waiting for her to let you in the single room that she has. MAINLY, she cancelled my appointment 5 mins before it started on 2 occasions! I requested a refund from Groupon. This place is a total JOKE! I wish I could leave no stars!
The massage was good and the massage therapist was very friendly, but the atmosphere needs a lot of work. The front staging area is more like a storage area with piles of towels, papers, and also wax from candles everywhere. In the massage room there are more stacks of paper and row after row of empty water bottles on a bookcase, oh and more wax. The carpet was sticky which really grossed me out.
