I used to walk by this place often, especially in winter to get a great bowl of soup. The young lady working then was especially nice to me. A great part of the character of the neighborhood. I painted a portrait of this place in my series of 'Disappearing New York', which you can see on my website, kovalfineart dot com.
Nice tiny soup/sandwich Kiosk for a simple quick lunch to go. Soups could use a little more flavor, but overall a solid meal. Can get bread, or little crackers to go with the soups. Pretty large selection for the size of the location. Clam chowder and the chili soups are standards that hold up well.
Favourite lunch spot in Soho. Delicious light meals, reasonably priced and served promptly. Friendly staff too!
I love soup Kiosk, but the woman serving needs to wear a hairnet! There was a long curly head hair just sitting on top of the chowder this afternoon :/
I work in Soho and frequent this spot for lunch. Great prices, cash only. The Moroccan lamb stew and beef chili are my favorites! Be prepared to stand in line if you're there between 12-1:30pm.
beat beef chili ever and the prices can't be beat. i crave it all the time!
The soup was great a little pricey but flavorful the girl that was serving was with great energy and good vibes she answered the questions I had with a smile on her face.
I looooooove Soup Kiosk. Been coming here regularly for years. Best cheap lunch in Soho. Never disappoints.
Good soup and lady serving it was extremely nice. Will be back!
