South Baptist Church

Come to us all you orphans and widows and we will give you rest. This is a Reformed Baptist Church, not a typical Southern Baptist Church. We have a preacher who does not hold back any punches! He speaks, breathes and lives the fire of truth, that no one wants to hear but needs to, devouring and consuming every fleshly desire and earthly provision you may be seeking. If you're looking for entertainment, this is not the place for you. Here is where you will see the reflection of your wretched soul in a spiritual mirror, through the Word of God, projected by and through a very humble and gentle man, Pastor Elder Anthony Scalafani, who is no doubt led by The Holy Spirit. If you are serious about knowing our true purpose and what God expects from each and everyone of us as part of his body, then this is where you will find yourself, as long as you are ready to lose your self. If you're just looking for somewhere to go on Sunday so that you can so you went to church and feel better about yourself and your appearances then don't come here please. If you are ready to honor Jesus Christ by becoming a functioning part of the His body as one of his disciples and fellow family member in the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, then we need you just as much as you need us and we invite you to come and fellowship with us, obeying gratefully and zealously, "The Ancient of Days," while bearing each other's burdens in love, that we may be holy as He is Holy, praising our Heavenly Father and serving His righteous purpose throughout this area and as far as we can go into the world, just as we've been commissioned by our Lord God Almighty Himself Who gave His own life for us, leaving us the perfect example and instructions on how to live a life that is pleasing to our Creator and acceptable to His Eternal Majesty on High! We Fellowship after service every week and bring a bag lunch so, once a month we do have a potluck dinner and we invite you to be a part of it anytime.

Great expository preaching.. The true word is preached here, very friendly people, the only church I've found in the lakes region that actually preaches the true gospel, sheep of Christ should come, goats will run..
