This place is worst than jail. They don't allow them to make phone calls or have visits until the "therapist" that's not a real therapist is okay. Which is BS because they will tell you that most likely you won't get to talk to them throughout their time in the program. Family don't know how their loved ones are doing and if they are okay because there is absolutely no communication between the Family member and loved ones or even the family members and staff members. It is absolutely Ridiculous. They basically cage them up and shuts them out from the world and they have no contact with their loved o Rd or children which mentally mess with their heads. They are not even allowed to have books to read. They expect people to want to go through this process and get out and be a changed person when they treat people in the program like garbage. This program will ruin your loved ones life. They don't really care about the well being of your family member, all they care about is the money that they're funded. They are supposed to help people not hurt them. We as loved ones need to come together to have this place shut down or have them change the way that this program works. I will be contacting whoever I can to change this or have it shut down as a whole.

I was so excited for this MAT program. Some long time drug abusers need medical assisted treatment. I know DAF is cutting off and discharging clients from receiving the Opiate Blocker medication without taking into account the drastic effect this could have on a drug abuser. It is unrealistic for a recovery place to think an addict can turn years of hard drug use around immediately. If you are testing the Clients for drug use before dosing and theirs NO illegal drug use give the Client the medication they need. The Doctor and Counselors Staff are only thinking of herself. I am VERY disappointed.

My experience was wonderful. Please ignore all these bad reviews. This is the deal..they get you clean..at no charge! This place does not coddel you. This place is not a "spa rehab". If your serious about getting clean and your disastrous life back together and you have no insurance...get your addicted butt to DAF! Yes..the staff is tough...but that's because your an addict...they basically shake you back to planet Earth. If you need help..they will get you clean and your life back..Period!

I am truly shocked that this facility has not been shut down. The administration genuinely has no interest in patients staying sober. there is absolutely no assistance in pursuing further treatment and contacting any long term treatment center is forbidden unless it is for their own program . Patients are forced to wear the same set of unwashed scrubs for the duration of their admission . Staff are cruel and nasty , and nurses ignored more than one medical crisis. You do not see a case manager or social worker at any point, and they it generally takes about 2 weeks for what would generally be a 5 day detox .There is not a single group of any kind nor anything recovery related . Do not go here if your goal is to get and stay sober .

this place ruins lives, violates constitutional rights, and is in it for the profit kickback from referrals. Going to this place for help will simply result in MORE problems. I would send my worst enemy here, definitely not a loved one though. You could not ruin someone's life more, then by sending them here. If anything this place would cause you to sink deeper into drug abuse. It does the exact opposite of what it is supposed to do. The public money could be better spent elsewhere, using employees who aren't self righteous and actually care. I can't believe this place is allowed to persist. It should be shut down.
