The guy behind the counter was very helpful. We went in looking to order a Weber grill and pretty much already knew what we wanted, but quickly answered the few questions we had. The price was already a bit lower than we'd seen it other places and they threw in assembly and delivery for free. I would definitely go back for my future hardware needs.
Forget about the big hardware stores, this place is the best little keep secret in the neighborhood! Great service, very knowledgeable and they make sure you get what you need and not over sell you on things you don't. Very surprising the inventory they have. Before you go to the big hardware store in Bloomfield, try this little gem first..
Wow, I just called and the guy who answered the phone was really rude and the opposite of helpful. I've shopped here quite a bit because it is convenient, I figured the high prices $30 dollars for a sponge mop were the trade-off for the convenience. And, in the past I have had good service, but whoever owns this place needs to keep an eye on his staff.
This is a dying breed. A local hardware store that has everything. Everyone is helpful and very knowledgable. They don't run and hide if you are looking for help, like other big-name stores. They also carry hard-to-find items, like "bartenders friend" and other products.
Thief, thief, thief. The man that either runs this business or works there takes advantage of the customers. How can a be that everywhere around montclair and little falls benjamin moore paint is $45 -$47 a gallon of regal matte paint and he sells it for $60. Obviously today he didn't have any customers and he knew we needed the paint to finish a bedroom so he took advanatage because there are no late afternoon benajmin moore stores open on a Sunday after 4pm. Do yourself a favor do not support this small business owner, there are plenty of small businesses in Montclair that need our support.
The man that works in the store is clueless when you ask him how come Aura paint is $80 at the their store when it is usually sold for $60. Don’t support this business. They rob customers. Just because it is Montclair they don’t have to increase the prices. It is not worth the convenience.
It’s like the old mom & pop hardware stores that preceded the closing of them due Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, etc. Very knowledgeable as well as friendly and helpful staff. The store is also very well stocked with hardware
Been to this store twice. Both times the staff was extremely rude... and it was 2 different people. Never going back and have no idea how they’re still in business.
They will serve you only by telephone. You call the number posted on the door, asked for what you're looking for and the answer is either yes or no.
Great local hardware store!
