Don't bother coming here. How it works is that the clinic is "walk in" based, but what that consists of is waiting in the lobby every day from 8:00am to 2:30pm hoping for someone with an appointment to cancel because you can't actually schedule an appointment. There is no guarentee that you will ever see anyone, just more waiting.
You have to do this to see a therapist, and then you have to wait for someone to cancel AGAIN to see a psychiatrist, EVERY TIME. The psychiatrists only see 12 patients a day of which there is only 1 available, except on Fridays where there are 3.
Let me reiterate: for walk ins, there are NO appointments. It all comes down to luck if someone cancels their appointment and you have to wait ALL DAY.
You have to do this to see one of their therapists, who then do a "psychiatric assessment" on you to determine if you can even see a psychiatrist here. The assessment is shallow, they don't listen to your story, and the entire time they're rushing you out the door. The therapist I saw determined that even though I had severe suicidal depression, I did not qualify for help because they only see severe bipolar types with hallucinations and schizophrenics.
At this point, after waiting 2 hours to be effectively turned away, the therapist I saw did offer me some consolitory advice and told me to seek help elsewhere. She was quite nice to me and very good at her job, so that was all right.
However, if you somehow manage to get any help, the quoted rate for me, an individual on the lowest side of the sliding scale, is $12 for therapy sessions and $12 for the psychiatrist.
If you must, I recommend going in once an hour, on the hour and waiting for 10 minutes. If no one cancels by 10 after, don't bother waiting the full hour in the lobby. Come back the next hour.
Also, the front desk talks to you like you're an idiot.

Absolutely awful. Receptionists are rude and don’t care about patients. They have absolutely no idea what’s going on and make simple things difficult. Stay away.

This place is rude and unprofessional. My sister has been trying to come here after she left the crisis center of the hospital. The hospital referred her here.
She's shown up multiple time for her "appointment" and has to sit around all day waiting for someone to cancel their appointment. That's not an appointment!!
They claim new patients can't get an actual appointment!!
They also won't refill her prescriptions for anti depressants until she has an actual appointment.
This place is a joke!!
This is no way to run a business, let alone out patient care that was referred by a HOSPITAL!!!
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
Your life may actually depend on it and these people won't care!!!
