Hoppenfeld is terrible, he is rude does not care about his patience. Spent over a year with him as my doctor and did nothing for me at all besides causing a lot of stress and anger. I wouldn’t even recommend him to my worse enemy. Right from the beginning I didn’t like him and asked for a different Doctor but he was my only choice. This man should not be allowed to practice medicine period.

Worse uncaring place. Dr Katrina Traverso spend two min with had no regards to the level of pain I was in, blood pressure high and was rude! I do not recommend you see this woman!! So sad how a Dr can be in the field to help people and not care about you! Disgusting!!! She in the wrong field. The worst!

I want to give a big big shout out to Doctor costello..omg!!! When I say he is the BEST!!! This man has took away my pain. He knows who this is.. because I told him I was going to write this.. I love u for taking away my knee pain. Thank you so muchhhhhh!!

I love reading reviews. My Aunt is a new patient here. I hope that they are able to help her. Dr. Hoppenfield and his staff treated her very well. They did a spinal procedure and definitely called to check on her as well. So far we are very pleased.

I have been struggling for several months with a flare up of my plantar fasciitis and my normal at home remedies were not working. I called Southeast Pain and Spine and they got me in quickly. I saw Dr. Hoppenfeld and he listened and took time to explain and show me pictures of what was actually happening in my foot. After discussing the home treatment I had been doing with no relief, he suggested an injection. I am so thankful for this option because I’m back to my normal routines in just a couple of days. Bonnie his nurse and Monica his nurse practitioner were so nice and I felt like I was the only patient they had for the day. Thanks Dr. Hoppenfeld! Robin A.

Don’t waste your time and money. The worst doctor visit I’ve ever had in my life. They can’t and won’t do anything for me except take my money. They wouldn’t even give me a note out of work for one day when I walked into their office with a cane…but they gave me muscle relaxers. By the way, I’m a truck driver with a bad back that moves pallets of paper and water and they wouldn’t write me a note. And I have a history of back pain and back surgery.

I have been a patient of Southeast pain for some time. Each time I go to the office I am treated with a smile. I believe it is because I walk in with one and realize that these people are handling hundreds if not thousands of patients. I actually joke with the receptionist and she actually remembers me even though some times I don't have an appointment for weeks. I have never had an issue with receiving my pain medication. I also am a patient of Dr. Heil. He is good and seems to be truly concerned about my well being.

Gave this place three stars because I think it's impossible to like or love a pain center. I go to Southeast Pain because it is my last resort besides looking to my maker for healing. These people handles thousands of people in pain and like the rest of us gets down and out being around pain just like we do. I have had injections and operations from Dr. Heil who hasn't hurt me yet. That says a lot. He is good at what he does! Can't think of anyone else I would rather have than Dr. Heil doing my injections! I am one of the patients where my pain isn't reduced but I am still here thanks to them! If you are truly in pain this would be an excellent place to consider. Who says that I say that and plan to stick with my story no matter what!

I went to Dr. Hoppenfeld about 2 years ago, I had just moved here from Texas where I was being treated for severe pain from stenosis, herniated discs, degenerative arthritis and more. I had 3 MRI's to prove the damage in my back. I had an ablation from him. They're supposed to put you under, and sever a nerve, I was awake .It didn't help at all. They charged me a ton thst went against my deductible for anesthesia that I didn't have. I was taking Tylenol 4's, and of course gave urine test. One month I had some of my stepson's cough syrup without thinking when I was really sick. They let that go. The T4's worked great for me, so a few months later I had s test that he said showed hydrocodone. I was shocked, I had not taken that. They didn't believe me and kicked me out of the practice. I asked what I'm supposed to do now, he said "take an ibuprofen. Meanwhile it says in my chart that I started to have the beginnings of kidney damage and can never take that again. I had 2 years of a perfect drug screening. That was it. I've since found a great pain clinic, two years of perfect urine tests. There is something very sketchy about him, I'm sure others will tell you.

Ignored the bad reviews and went here anyway. The front office staff was not friendly, though Dr Heil was nice, they were supposed to schedule an MRI but never did, and when I called again to wait on hold for fifteen minutes, they finally put the MRI order in a week late and it was submitted for the wrong area. A week after the MRI, a nurse called me back to tell me nothing was wrong, dismissed my pain and told me to go to physical therapy. If you jump through their hoops, they'll probably just tell you they can't do anything to help.
