Southeast Technical Institute

For starters this school has a horrible graduation rate 1 in 3. That is a 33.3% success rate. I was in the successful student population, and graduated with honors. As I began looking into what I could do to further my education, I found out that most of the credits STI offers aren't transferable to even state colleges. Fortunately, USF designed a program tailored to this major short falling of the SD board of regents. I now have graduated from both institutions and needed official transcripts for my job. Not only does STI not offer the convenience of getting a transcript same day, they also make you pay for it. At USF I walked in and out with a transcript and no fee - that is service. You'd think that after receiving thousands of dollars for tuition STI would be able to print you a piece of paper for no charge. Very disappointed with this school, I would caution anyone considering attending.

I have had a Great time attending. Some people are just not very bright, or they don't understand how the system works and will not ask for assistance. Do a little research, ask a few questions and you will be just fine.

Great school, gives enough education to find a good job, always up to date with the latest technology.

It gave me my foundation for my bachelor's degree and only 3/67 of my credits didn't transfer to an out of state university. Do what the teacher's ask and what is expected of you. Don't overlook this school. -Adult learner
