SPARK is a contemporary cooperative art gallery located in the Denver, Colorado's Arts District on Santa Fe.

Story

SPARK Gallery presents diverse and dynamic art exhibits in its galleries, located in the Art District on Santa Fe. Started in 1978, SPARK is the oldest cooperative gallery in Denver. Members of Spark Gallery cooperative exhibit locally in juried exhibitions such as The Cherry Creek Arts Festival, North American Sculpture Exhibition and All Colorado Art Exhibit, as well as nationally and internationally. Members work in sculpture, drawing, painting, collage, found objects, embroidery, assemblage, encaustic, installation, ceramics, metalpoint, and photography. Many of our members are faculty at Colorado universities, community colleges, and art schools.

This artist coop gallery is both the coolest and the oldest coop gallery of fine art in Denver. I suppose I’m biased being a member artist, but our group of artists are most talented and dedicated to bringing excellent artworks to the Denver art community. If you’re looking for a gallery to visit while in town or just hanging out on the weekend, get in here! Check out the latest show and maybe pick up a unique and local artwork to take home!
Galleries rise and fall because of their core artists. Spark has a deep bench of diverse creators, and so they are able to present appealingly eclectic shows and exhibits. It's one of the premiere cooperative galleries in Denver - perhaps the oldest? - and the core artists are what make it such a mainstay of the Santa Fe arts scene. It's always interesting to visit; it's often inspirational.
The oldest cooperative gallery in Denver 1979 featuring many accomplished artists at mid- to late career. Nice gallery space in the heart of the Santa Fe Drive art district.
Fabulous art gallery with multiple galleries for showings. Openings have wine and appetizers. Worth a visit for sure! The parking is alright, mostly on the street parking.
