Cute little shop. Registered for the Metal Etching workshop that was scheduled for noon on Saturday. Arrived a little early to browse the shop but I arrived there were "Closed" and "Temporarily Closed while we deal with some issues" signs in the window and on the door. Not happy. Five other people arrived who were part of a bridal party and had the same reaction. There was no phone number nor email address referenced, just, "see our website." A little passed noon, on eof the other group received a phone call from the instructor stating she had overslept, was really sorry, but was on her way. It was frustrating, yes, but it's not a big corporate shop and things do sometimes happen. By the time we got inside, warmed up a bit, and settled into the back room where the workshop is, it was after 12:30. I wasn't in a hurry, so after getting over my frustration of initially thinking the class wouldn't happen and I was out my money, I was just fine. Relaxed. The class itself is very casual. The instructor is very sweet, informative, and friendly. Simple explanations. Can freehand or stamp your metal pieces for etching. Interesting and easy process. The instructor felt bad about being late so we got to do as many pieces as we wanted. No one took advantage it and went nuts, but we were able to make some really nice pieces. While they were in the acid, we got to pick out accessories and findings to go with our etched peices, and then assemble our jewelry. The instructor did help people with assembly who wanted/needed help. Great workshop to learn a new skill.
Best place in Bay View for Milwaukee & Wisconsin gifts. Also, so many local artists have a spotlight here. Couldn’t recommend it more. Tiny store but FULL of cool stuff from art to clothing. stuff for kiddos, too, if you’re looking for that.
Have attempted to go multiple times. You’ll waste your time driving out and paying for parking only to see the tiny cardboard note in the window that says “closed.” Very frustrating.
I stopped in to look for a bridal shower gift for a friend, never having been in before. The store has a lot of really cute items, from jewelry to coffee mugs, planters, glassware, and local art. I really appreciate the fact Sparrow Collective promotes local artists, and a lot of the products available are Wisconsin and Milwaukee-themed. Unfortunately, I did not purchase anything on this visit; although I saw several things I thought would make a great bridal shower gift, the pricing was just too much. I try to shop local whenever I can and definitely value quality, however I found price range a little too high i.e. $40 for a set of 4 coasters. I hope to visit again in the future if I am in need of a gift for someone, and hopefully find something a little more reasonable.
Absolutely love this place. If your in need of a gift last minute and don't know what to get, this place will have something. Local artists different goods are sold here, from coffee mugs, to T-shirts, to one of a kind jewelry and even great cards. I can always find something that I like here and the product is always changing. Plus they have a frequent shopper card so every $10 you spend you get a punch & after you fill the card you get 20% off your next purchase. I highly recommend checking this place out, its a great little shop.
Such a cute store! It’s one of my favorite places to stop at whenever I’m in Milwaukee. They have so many cute items, especially jewelry, candles, and natural beauty products. My only complaint is it’s a bit more pricey, but I think the price is fair for a local boutique. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by!
Always love going into this little shop, they have everything! Tons of locally made items, from coffee mugs to socks to essential oils. Definitely worth poking your head into, especially if you like supporting local business and local designers. Whenever I'm in Bayview I always stop in

I always bring my wife home some of there beautiful pieces of jewelry . See you next year. This is the first place I visited and they also recommended URSAS! Great place and awesome people.3 yrs in a row , can’t wait to bring my wife next year.
Love coming in here! Local artists, good variety and there is more locally made clothing in the shop down the street. Try to get holiday gifts here but usually end up shopping for myself. Priced well, friendly staff that isn't pushy. Only negative is I wish it was bigger!
This shop has so much character and heart! It is small, cozy and packed with unique finds, local treasures, quality crafts and quirky-clever art! They have everything from jewelry to decor to bath-body products. A must when visiting Milwaukee!
