Speedway is AWESOME. Every time I go in the staff want to help me like I'm the only person in the shop. My last two interactions with the shop have made speedway the only shop in town I want to give my business to. On the first occasion, I brought my Fatback in to be serviced to sell, and they just didn't just tune the bike up, they cleaned it to look as good as possible, caring about their brand. Thier mechanic Cameron is who I worked with. On the second occasion, I was preparing for a big international bike touring trip and wanted to have my bike tuned, I ended up leaving with so much more than a tuned bike, Cameron the mechanic has tons of bikepacking experience gave me a lot of valuable insight and advice. If your going to go touring in Alaska, stop in Speedway and ask for Cameron, the odds are good that if your riding a bike in Alaska, he's done it and can give you the beta

I highly recommend this bike shop! Moved here 1 year ago. Bought my fat bikes here GAVE ME A KILLER DEAL WITH FREE UPGRADES. Manager - Paul is the man. He is so friendly. I have had maintenance for regular mountain bikes and my fat biked done here. They do an awesome job. Quick turn around and excellent availability If you are newb about something they don't treat you poorly for your lack of knowledge. They are helpful and not condescending. CHECK EM OUT!

One of my favorite MTB shops in town. Been here a few times, and they've been great. This time, they helped me on the spot as a walk-in and got me back out the door in 10 minutes.

The staff at Speedway are top shelf professionals, highly knowledgeable, seasoned Alaska riders, and will go out of thier way to help you choose the right bike for you, or get yours repaired the "right way," in a timely manner. It's a fantastic shop, great product layout, and a pressure-free environment.

The only bike shop that I shop at. Staff is great, they don't try to push old inventory on you. Very helpful and actually remember your first name. Great public relations. When they build your bike, they are detail orientated and will tune to your size very well.

Staff is all great to deal with, whether you're a repeat customer or a first-timer. The mechanics and sales staff are very good to deal with. I've also had questions after buying which they've answered and/or troubleshot free of charge. Pretty much everything you want in a local bike shop.

For the past 8 years I have biked year-round as my main mode of transportation. I recently purchased a fat tire bicycle and took it in to have the tires changed at speedway. They were very friendly, very open to me asking me questions and they worked quickly to make sure the bike is up and running so that I could get back to my routine. I really appreciate their attentiveness and I'm sure you will too.

Awesome group of professionals with quick turnaround time as far as service goes. They installed new brake lever, hydro hose and caliper on my stumpjumper in 2 hours and gave me a tune-up. Got the bike back same day.. on a Saturday! So stoked and will be back!

Great place for people who love bikes. Tucked in next to Hording Marmot, it's a great place to buy, look at, or just talk about bikes. The staff are awesome: really kind and knowledgeable. They also sell a fair amount of bike accessories like helmets, shoes, tools, etc. Definitely worth a visit!
