Spencer Springs Animal Hospital

Everyone at Spencer Springs Animal Hospital is so friendly and kind. The facility is warm and inviting and fun deco. The front and rooms are immaculate. Dr. Kosta is the best! We take both of our babies there. One Havanese and one Shi-Poo.

The Dr's. and administrative staff are wonderful here. Made me feel like they actually cared about my pet Shiver. Always responded to my calls and emails and open to appointments to meet my schedule. My Shiver passed on Father's day this past year but thanks to the medical staff here I got to have an extra year with my boy before his passing. Will always be grateful to them.

Three of the hardest things to find, in my opinion, are a good primary care doctor, a good dentist, and a good vet. I decided to bring my dogs to Spencer Springs after hearing good things from a friend. My experience from start to finish was nothing less then perfect. The front office staff were beyond helpful over the phone and helping me set up my initial appointments as well as getting information and files set up ahead of time to make my check in seamless. Once in the back, I was lucky enough to get Dr. Susie Costa. She is very thorough and cares for your pets as if they are her own. She is very straightforward and does not believe in over treatment and over vaccination unlike big-name vets like Banfield. I’m glad I came to Spencer Springs animal would completely recommend.

I would not recommend this place unless you're looking to put your dog down from misdiagnosis. I spent $1000s over the past year on operations that were unnecessary and was told his issue was bacterial when it turned out to be degenerative myelopathy. Not once did Dr. Costa mention that as a possible diagnosis. She has sold her practice and probably doesn't really care and isn't telling her customers so she doesn't lose any business until it's too late for people to find out.

We have a new puppy that is about six months old now. His name is Sebastiane. We recently had to take a trip out of town and were delighted to find out that this animal hospital does do boarding as well. We went on a tour of the boarding area and we’re delighted to find that there is a back doggy run. When we got our puppy dog back after staying here for a week, he was in great shape, clean and I could tell there was some love involved in his upkeep.

Everyone from the doctors down to the receptionist and the nurses and the pharmacy are awesome here. We were recommended this veterinary hospital buy a friend and have gone here ever since and never been disappointed.

Have been going here since both of my dogs were puppies, Dr. Costa is the best, and the entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Spencer Springs is a wonderful place to take your pets. The staff is caring and companionate. They really care what is best for your pets.

I've taken all my dogs here over the last 11 years. The staff and physicians are all very nice. Never had a complaint. They've taken good care of our newest rescue, Claude. Poor guy has allergies and has been going for shots. They knew right away what was wrong with him.

Most caring group of people ever. I had gone to another vet for years. Once my old girl started having issues they didn’t seem to care and were always trying to upsell and charge crazy prices. I brought her here instead on a recommendation and first and foremost the care was absolutely amazing. Incomparable. The doctor clearly loves animals and I felt her care for my old pup. The next best part was they were less then half the cost of the other vet I’d been seeing. This place is a dream come true for pet owners!
