Love, love, love this place! We went for lunch and couldn't be more happy with our decision to do so. We picked this place from the reviews on Google. The dumplings ARE very good. The food was very, very fresh. Staff was attentive without hovering. Prices were very reasonable and I'd like to go for dinner to see how the portions are and what if any specials they might offer. We didn't order anything but tried and true selections, dumplings, soup, beef with broccoli and chicken in a brown sauce with vegetables. Everything was hot, just the right spice level and the veggies were fresh, fresh, fresh. Had enough to take some home except for the dumplings! Good location with decent parking and seating inside was well spaced out and very clean. Highly recommended!
I was in the mood to eat someplace I haven't before so. My mom suggested this spot. There were no other cars in the parking lot. I was a bit apprehensive but later on, I'd find there were ZERO reasons to be. We were waited on by the lovely Sandy who was pleasant and accommodating. She was a sweetheart. We ate fried chicken wings nothing to write a song about, honey back ribs it was ok, hot and sour soup generally not a fan of but surprisingly delicious, and combination Mei fun complete with beer, shrimp, and chicken.....YUM and chicken Mei fun came with a side of one spring roll. I enjoyed my dining experience and will eat here again. Vegetarian options: There are a host vegetarian dishes to choose from Parking: I would imagine during peak hours parking would be difficult to obtain since the lot is on the smaller end Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for wheelchair patrons in addition to 2 parking spaces to accommodate physically disabled persons as well
Chengdu lambpicture was absolutely incredible Spicy cold noodles has the most addictive sauce and the noodles had a perfect bite, not overwhelmingly spicy either. Spring rolls were also good and the staff are friendly and the place is clean and cozy. Would 10/10 recommend
Really disappointed today with the quality of food and the amount of oil they put in the food. We ordered dinner Today and that was delivered thru Grubhub …. Dry Pot chicken and Dry Pot Shrimp had enough oil like a curry. The oil leaked from most of the containers , a container lid was bent and half open …. I am attaching the pics for everyone to see for themselves!!
Wow - how is this place in the middle of the “Land of Italian Restaurants” also known as Long Island?!?! This place is absolutely delicious and super authentic! One of a kind on Long Island - a must try!
Nice clean friendly atmosphere. The lunch special fried string beans was excellent. The roast duck was just ok. The hot and sour soup was really good. Other than that I like the place. Food came out fast and the checkout was prompt. No complaints.
I can’t wait to try more dishes from this restaurant! Authentic flavors!
Had such high hopes for this place as everyone I spoke to highly recommended it. The food was okay. We got the dumplings in chili oil and an appetizer which was pretty good. My chicken and broccoli was so oily to the point where you can see the oil separate and the sauce was clumpy. The white rice was over cooked and the broccoli was undercooked. The service was okay.
Quite tasty! There is an authentic Chinese menu in addition to an American Chinese. Do try the authentic Chinese menu. If you have a typical American palate, I suggest first trying out the dry fried green beans, twice cooked pork, and some soup to balance out the heavier, oilier dishes : Try one of the green vegetables if you’d like a flavorful but not oily experience, and want to discover that veggies can actually taste super good :p
Pure Authentic Chinese or American style, the choice is yours! You know a Chinese restaurant is authentic when they answer the phone in Mandarin first and English second. They have a variety of both American style and authentic Sichuan Chinese dishes. Even if you choose American style, it's absolutely delicious and not excessively greasy or salty like many American-Chinese restaurants. If you love Sichuan cuisine or just spicy food this place is worth a try. My only complaint is that the menu online does not give precise portion sizes. For example, it doesn't say if the soup is a quart or a pint, or how many dumplings you get per order, etc. Defiantly a must try for anyone looking for a new Chinese restaurant to try.
