Spirito Sewing Center Inc

This is one of those places where you step back in time - a sewing machine museum. So full of machines the floor plan is a series of little trails between little mountains of them, all shapes / sizes / types / vintages / makes / models .. and the local guide (Joe Spirito) somehow seems to know where everything is. And he's competent - very - and seems to have repaired everything all his life. Need an arcane part? No problem. Adjustment? With his eyes closed. Love this place - it's like a library (you can go as far as you want) with a competent librarian to help. Don't come at lunch time: Joe takes 2 hours.

Great service! Had a jammed Singer 281 that was a little too delicate for my own attempts at repairing. Within 24 hours Joe had shown up and got it taken care of- while talking me through his process and giving me pointers. Guy knows his stuff! Not only about sewing machines but all kinds of tooling and machinery.

He is my to to guy when i have machine problems. An extremely nice gentleman who is always a pleasure to work with. A great guy with fair prices and speedy delivery.
