Splitrock Pools

The indoor/outdoor heated pool situation is awesome. I love that it’s 3 ft all the way around so the kids have a little more freedom. The slides were great. Hot tubs were great. I think more chlorine needs to be used, we didn’t really smell it much when we were there and with a public facility - I want to know it’s well chlorinated. The locker rooms need some major cosmetic updates as well to make the facility really feel nice, to match the surrounding village. Also, the natural gas smell you can smell in the ladies locker room needs to be taken care of (staff said it’s always been that way).

We called ahead to make sure it wasn’t busy since I have a broken arm(which I have metal in). We are about about a 7 minuet walk from our hotel but it was 28 degrees F. So that my the walk more miserable. So when we called they said it was NOT BUSY. We got there it was SO crowded you could barely even walk around. The outdoor pool was closed for “visiblety issues”. Which made NO since at all because the pool was 3 ft deep. And we had 4 responsible adults it was barely foggy so you could see clearly. The hot tubs were so crowded and there was little 3 year olds in the hot tub. Which that was cranked up hot so is not good for their health. We had walk all the way back in the freezing cold with metal in my arm! A terrible experience and we didn’t even get to swim.

Great place to unwind after a day on the slopes. Heated outdoor pool, pool deck, two whirlpools, sauna, and outdoor heated waterslide.
