Story

Sports Gear first opened its doors in the summer of 2004 in Kailua Town as Kailua Sports Gear. It was a small store, but we managed to fit a wide selection. We quickly became known as the place to go for “big and wide” cleats and apparel. We have prided ourselves on being able to accommodate the smallest feet to the biggest, carrying sizes up to 24 in cleats and basketball!! We stayed in Kailua for five years before moving to Windward Mall, a bigger location with a new name, Sports Gear Warehouse. We enjoyed our time at Windward Mall, but in early 2013 we made our most recent move to Bay View Golf Park. We are excited to start our new journey here with new and old friends! We have all the things we’ve always carried, such as football, soccer, baseball and softball, MMA and so much more, but we also now carry Golf equipment and accessories! We also re-grip golf clubs! Come on in and see what we’ve got and make sure you check back regularly, as we are always getting more in.
As always, we do team orders, special orders, purchase orders and if we don’t have what you’re looking for in stock, we will try our hardest to accommodate you. So please, stop on by. We are now located in the Bay View Golf Park (the former Roger Dunn).
