The rooms are nice enough, with good AC and a good size. Services however are lacking, the staff neglected servicing my room 9 days out of my 12 day stay. I ultimately had to go downstairs in person and have a fit with management to get my room cleaned. Consierge is very polite but room service and cleaning could definitely be improved greatly. Noteworthy details: Standard WiFi is terrible averaging 10mbs upload & download. If you have any need to conduct conference calls or zoom meetings from your room you have no choice but to pay $4.99 daily for improved WiFi tested: 22mbs up & down.
Beautiful hotel. The staff was great, the breakfast was amazing, the rooms were very clean and the property was very well maintained. Will definitely stay here again. Rooms: Very clean and spacious. Nearby activities: Lots of stuff to do and places to go. Safety: Very quiet and safe Walkability: Big water area to walk around Food & drinks: Nearby restaurants and bars Noteworthy details: Worth every penny to stay here.
Hotel staff was very friendly, the room was perfectly tidy and inviting when I arrived. Everything was as is expected from a Marriott Property. My only issue was no HOT WATER.Rooms: 3/5
The hotel is in shameful disrepair and the staff is on a baffling power trip that makes it impossible to receive good service. The app says they have mobile key, but when you get to the back door you will find that they don't. I saw the manager from the back door and he looked at me and kept walking. I walked all the way around to the front in the cold and found that the front door was locked as well. The manager was nowhere to be seen and there was no one at the front desk. There is no bell to ring or any other way to get in. I banged on the door with my palm hoping someone would hear, which brought the manager to the front to give me a lengthy lecture about how I don't have to bang on the door before he would be kind enough to let me in. He continued to lecture me throughout the check-in process while I stayed quiet and regretted paying in advance. I apologized and explained that the mobile key didn't work so I couldn't get in either door after walking around in the cold, and that prompted him to continue his lecture explaining that they don't have all the fancy amenities I might be used to. I had only expected them to have a mobile key because the app advertised it repeatedly and took me through a mobile check-in process, but I didn't bother mentioning that detail as the manager was clearly uninterested. The elevator only works if you hold the buttons down to operate it, which was a new one for me. The air conditioner is deafening, the fridge is tiny, The plastic wrappers around the cups in my room were all opened. Despite being cheaper than the other Marriott locations next door, it's parking lot was empty, and the reasons were obvious even though I noticed them a little too late. With a whole new staff and some basic maintenance it would be a reasonably decent hotel. Until then, look elsewhere. It is generally best to stay away from Marriott in general. Rooms: Weird layout with a desk that looks like it belongs to a bank teller with a sliding window serving the bed. It is actually a reasonably good size, but the way out and the furniture sticking out in all directions with sharp edges makes it feel very small, cramped, and unwelcome. Walkability: Even the parking lot is not walkable and there is nothing of interest without crossing highways with no sidewalks. Not remotely walkable.
Our stay was excellent all around! The rooms are beautiful, big, and comfortable! Not too close to the highway, very quiet and relaxing. Carlos at the front desk was SO helpful and friendly. He needs a raise. I will definitely be staying here againRooms: 5/5
Construction is complete... the new furniture in the rooms and in the lobby suck. The "couch" is hard as concrete, you cannot sit back with it. If you have a bad back, stay away! There is no where to sit! I don't know what they did with the pillows for the beds, but they are now hard 2'x2' square tiles to rack your head on. There is no cellular connectivity in the hotel, wifi is spotty. It's not a comfortable place to retreat to. Now the elevators have a sign to "continue to hold button until elevator arrives"
Recently updated hotel. Stayed 4 nights, dirty floors lobby and halls. Some employees are helpful some seemed to hate their jobs. Shower was awful and tub was stopped up. Comforter on beds were dirty and needed washing. Getting new clean towels were a challenge. Had a hard time keeping up with laundry. I would not recommend. Stay in Marriott hotels often. Not the greatest
Overall, excellent experience here. The location is pretty good and you can walk to some restaurants, albeit there isn’t exactly sidewalk access. They really helped me out after I realized I had left some shoes in my room. This was 4 days after checking out. I called and they said they had them. I just pre-paid for a shipping label and they got them to UPS the next day. That was a huge blessing to not have to go out and get another pair of tennis shoes. The treadmills in the workout room are a little old but the room itself is great. Rooms are updated and clean. It was quiet while I was staying there. I would stay here again for sure.
We stayed here recently for a family reunion. Loved the staff, especially Tina and Keisha. I really want to give special recognition to the houseman, Deonte. What a hard worker and nice guy. Deonte seemed genuinely interested that we were enjoying our stay and he was focused on doing a great job. Hang on to this guy! I hope that he is rewarded and recognized for being a Marriott valuable employee.
From the time we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly smile from Keisha and at one point, she had to change out a broken coffee pot and was very courteous. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful when we needed extra items and the breakfast bar was awesome. I had never ordered from delivery foods before and their list that was given to me upon request and it was laid out so perfectlykudos to whoever put that page together I was able to order with ease. Always a smile on the workers faces and the fragrance was awesome. LOVE LOVED the scent. Yall are great. We will definitely be back. Thank you Keisha for being the best at your job.!!!!
