There is no funding here, please don’t waste your time!!!! About 5 years ago the vice principal and principal were professional and really wanted to make the school thrive. However each year we stayed the communication between the school and parents was hardly there and very little came from those ideas and promises. There was never a playground such as swings or equipment for the kids just merely a hot blacktop and a bin of balls, no cafeteria just an open small area with some tables to eat with frozen lunches served. There were promises of possibly music classes, extra curricular activities such as a science teacher etc…, that flopped. Just so many let downs every single year all to brag that our children go to a “charter” school? They Displayed like public school is horrible with no flexibility etc… clearly they are not superior. Rather academically far behind. There is no programs for your child to excel so if your child is smart there’s no extras for them their basically treated all the same. No traditional grading system just 1,2,3,4. So why am I taking my kids here when there’s no incentive but keeping them homeschooled 2x a week with nothing going for them? Nothing offered by the school when they claim their the best school ever. Not only was the turnaround from the staff high but ….. The most interesting thing I noticed was that their own children were in the regular public schools gasp but our children are limited to this? No thanks! After 4 years of my daughter attending, multiple parents including myself left and have never felt better! The very thing I wanted to keep my child away from public school was the very thing I should’ve just started her in the beginning because the charter schools is not where it’s at.
Not sure where to start.. This was not a good start of the 2019/20 school year... We experienced a very unorganized staff also the professionalism in communication was very, very bad and “they” refused to take any responsibility when situations happened at the Learning Center with my student also none of the rotating staff is on the same page. I grew tired of explaining things over, over. There was no real genuine support or compassionate guidance for the parents/homeschool educators with any of our concerns that you may have about your learning materials or where to start if your child has an IEP and be given realistic goals that can be achieved. Just because you don’t see a disability on the outside, doesn’t mean nothing is wrong. If you have child with an IEP or requires special Education this is definitely not the place to go. I would look around more The latest Special Education team here was not kind, compassionate or had a genuine understanding- didn’t speak to us in a kind tone, none stop of emails. For us this charter school has failed in many ways/areas to help my student’s achievements, academics. If your a parent who is proactive in your student’s education- our special education team didn’t like it at all- because of none of the positive traits listed above. Especially if you have special circumstances for accommodations.
The best school ever. I at first of course didn't wanna be homeschooled. It took me a while to get used to cause I have been public my entire life. This school is amazing and I can say how much I love it. I have met so many amazing people and the teachers are the absolute best. How it works is you home school you kid 5 days a week but if you want you kid can go to a campus Tuesday and Thursday. They have fun classes and learning classes. Some classes are bisworld, math, writing, art, science, Lego league, biz movie, biz wiz, code, dance, musical theater and more! We have a huge field, four square, and a ton of games painted in our blacktop. We have 2 different spots to eat and lunch is from 12-1. Oh also we switch classes. But of course kindergarten doesn't our principle, and office staff are super nice and just very helpful and caring. This school of the best and I defidently recommend it!
I still cannot believe that I didn't give my daughter the advantage of this program years ago. I love everything & everyone who is dedicated to helping students earn the best education available. We are here now & that is what truly matters. Maybe I shouldn't say this but I am going to because the LAUSD isn't too keen on involved parents who read the Parent/Student Handbook from cover to cover & try to hold them accountable. That district is simply disgraceful. I feel like I'm comparing pink slime lausd to filet Mignon Springs Charter. We are blessed to be a part of this program!
Temecula office will block your number and you will not be able to get the help you need upon graduation. Beware. Avoid this school.
I think it one of the lowest quality schools that exists .Your better off homeschooling your kid .School 4 days a week with Friday being they don't half to go if they don't feel like it .It's now February and they haven't gotten any progress reports nor have they given out any quarterly grades .It seems like the teachers are just starting there new not going what they want to do career job .Pushing the kids threw just for a paycheck .I could go on but I'll stop there definitely wouldn't refer this school to anyone and hope this is the first and last year girls attend there .
Great place to work!
It's of the one best schools in California.
Amazing school!
