St Anthony's Italian Festival

Gorgeous sanctuary designed in the style of a church one might find in Verona, Italy, with many beautiful pieces of art consisting of sculptures, paintings and mosaics. The church has many mini shrines within for devotions and a fantastic choir that literally sounds as if the angels were singing from the heavens above. A gift shop with beautiful religious items is also available just inside the church entrance. The Oblates in Residence are all very passionate priests and have wonderful stories within their homilies. Beautiful house of worship and peace.

I had good time visiting St. Anthony, Padua R.C. Church on Wilm., Del.'s West Side in its Li'l Italy neighborhood as l attended Sun. Vigil Mass at 5:00 PM on Sat. as its Sun. Vigil Masses returned

Beautiful church but it’s a shame that the pastor allows pop up concerts very often! They use the sanctuary as a theater & karaoke club! Wonder if they’re still serving desserts, wine & juice inside the church during these poorly attended concerts! The former deceased pastors must be turning in their graves! Stop these so called concerts!

A very pretty church and I would really love to be there for mass.

IT'S IN MY HERITAGE! THE SAINT ANTHONY'S DAY PARADE. THE DEFONZO'S ROLLS. MY GRANDFATHER, CARMINE C. GRAND MARSHALL KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS MARCH AND WELCOME EVERY ONE TO LITTLE ITALY. MY AUNTS COOKING HOMEMADE MEATBALLS. THE SMELLS, THE ENERGY. TODAYS VERSION IS A MORE RESTRICTED BUT IS ALWAYS GREAT TO GET MY PANZEROTTIS AND ENJOY A LITTLE TASTE OF ITALY. IT'S A WONDERFUL EVENT. AND THE CHURCH ITSELF IS A REMARKABLE ARCHITECTURAL EXPERIENCE! SO BEAUTIFUL ARE THE EXQUISITE ARTISANS CRAFTSMANSHIP. THE MASONS SKILLS ARE STILL BREATHTAKING

Beautiful church. Fascinating history.

IT'S a very nice and pretty place and very friendly and it is beautiful Church to have a wedding in or a funeral in and I recommend going to a mass there. It is a very big church with Alot stained glass windows.

Lots of history here, very ornate sanctuary

Absolutely Gorgeous church. I am so Blessed to have been able to go to Mass and walk throughout the church praying at the Saints statues.

Beautiful church, old world charm. Reeks of traditional Catholic church style, quite unlike some of ugly churches built recently. An outstanding example of ugliest, Holy Angeles in Newark, looks like a NORA outpost.
