St. Basil of Ostrog Church is diverse and very family oriented. Education is a priority at this Church. The educational programming includes Sunday school, language school, folk dance classes, parent lectures, and a year-long calendar of a wide range of activities and learning opportunities. The faithful of St. Basil are very committed to local and international charity/philanthropic efforts. This is a parish of hard-working faithful people committed to God, Church and Family. Church life centers around the Holy Litrugy served every Sunday at 10AM. Fellowship lunch is hosted every Sunday following the service. Everyone is welcome. There is unconditional love for all. —St. Basil of Ostrog Serbian Orthodox Church is a nonprofit religious community with leadership from the Serbian Orthodox Church in North and South America, the Diocese of New Gracanica and Midwestern America through the auspices of the Serbian Patriarchate of Belgrade, Serbia, whose mission is to: —Proclaim, practice, and sustain the Christian Orthodox faith; developing and enhancing the spiritual growth of its communicants. —Preserve and follow the disciplined examples of faith through the lives of Christian martyrs and saints. —Develop and offer programs, activities, and services for parishioners to expand the religious, educational, cultural, philanthropic, and social ministries of our church community; —Protect, maintain and develop the physical buildings, land and religious property continuously and with financial responsibility; —Promote Serbian unity and Orthodox Christian fellowship and values
