I went to hear Mass with my mother. The priest's homily didn't cater much for most children present but to the adult audience. Children would understand the homily more if the priest will explain the readings in what younger listeners can understand
A very welcoming, small, community church. Been attending since 1970. Masses are not too long. They aren't Father Marc Vicari, in every interaction we have had with him, from planning a Baptism to having funerals, seemed to really try to understand me and my family, and to help us without judgment, during times of joy and even during the most awful ones...
Father Marc is the wonderful, intelligent and caring pastor of this beautiful church. My wife and I have been watching his live streamed Mass on Sunday morning during the pandemic. Hearing and seeing Fr. Marc offering the Mass and giving his excellent homilies has kept our spirits uplifted. God bless Fr. Marc and the great parish he has been so instrumental in creating.
Very active parish, first-class music program, people seem to care about the parish and each other. Started attending here after being so disappointed recently with the other Montclair Catholic church.
I moved to Montclair 2 years ago after I retired. I moved from sunny south Florida and have enjoyed the Faith Community of St Cassian. I’ll never look back. Being able to go to daily Mass is a blessing
Early morning mass at 815am fit well for some...but go a little early and join a group of faithful in reciting the Rosary and other morning prayers...a very welcoming congregation.
Very warm and welcoming parish. The staff is also most welcoming. Our pastor is also awesome.
Great church great kind priests kind people Blessings Douglas Moser
A Catholic Community in the Archdiocese of Newark - The Pastor is a great Priest who cares so much for his parishioners.
