St. Croix Valley Dance Academy

They care more about appearances and performance than they do about anything else. If your looking for a great first impression of dance for your little one this isn't the studio for you. They seem to do well with the older kids but for the little ones they aren't great. The time they do spend with your child is very rushed, the classes are short and only focus on their routine not skills to build their dance knowledge. I was hoping to give my daughter a time to learn about moving with music, very basic beginning dance movements, and an opportunity to just have fun. We are leaving this studio very disappointed and looking forward to finding a new studio who will care more about their dancers and less about making toddlers into tiny dance robots.

The owner and staff at SCVDA are so incredible. My oldest has been dancing there for almost 6 years, and my youngest has been there for over a year. My 4 year old daughter was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder, and Melanie and her entire staff has worked so hard to assist us with her. Because of them, she has made leaps and bounds in her progress, and is now able to follow direction, her speech has improved greatly, as well as her balance. If you want a studio that teaches not only dance steps, but honesty, ethics and self-esteem, send your children here! They are AMAZING!

This is the best Dance Studio in the area. My family and I have been dancing with St Croix Valley Dance Academy for 6 years. My girls participate on the competition teams, my husband has been a part of the Dad's & Dolls program, and I dance with the adult ladies. We love this studio. The teachers are kind and professional. The price is excellent. I will never consider leaving St Croix Valley Dance Academy for another studio. And, I recommend this studio to anyone that wants to be involved with a quality dance program.

I've been with St. Croix Valley Dance for 8 years - an amazing place where my daughter can grow in her craft! Great teachers and a fabulous atmosphere. Instructors are energized and knowledgable. Highly recommend this studio to anyone who wants their child to explore different kinds of dance in a supportive atmosphere!
