A beautiful, historic chapel located in Marquettes campus. A quiet area and great place to reflect and relax. The building has some plaques inside describing the history and the buildings move from France. Beautiful flowers outside in the spring and summer.
The most beautiful 14th century French chapel in the midwest...rather the only one, but beautiful none the less. Extremely nice attendant.
Such an amazing place to be, wish there was a tour but still so cool to visit.
Awesome little chapel in the middle of Marquette's campus. Great place to go for a period of self reflection and praying. Only knock is that there were not any kneelers to use, which is my preferred way of praying. I am interested in learning more about the history of the chapel. There is a little plaque on the inside describing how it was moved from France to here, but was originally built in the 15th century.
I have frequently stopped here when passing through Milwaukee, to get out of the car, wait out rush hour, and reflect. The building and surrounding area were restored and re landscaped last year. Though it is a working chapel on a Catholic college campus, tourists are welcome if polite and respectful.
One of my favorite places to bring people. Weather your from out of town or from the area, this little chapel will interest anyone. Where else in America can you visit somewhere St. Joan of Arch actually prayed at!?
Tiny chapel with a very interesting history. It's located on Marquette University campus and hosts a lot of students on weekdays. The chapel was shipped from France first to the east coast then to Milwaukee. The level of engineering done to rehab the chapel is amazing. There are pieces inside that are hundreds of years of age and are very valuable. The tour guides are very passionate and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting this unique chapel.
What a beautiful place! This little hidden jem is located within the campus of Marquette University. It's a must to see!
Amazingly beautiful, the oldest church you will ever step foot in! If visited Milwaukee it is A moss 2 stop by.
Very cool piece of history on the Marquette University campus!
