I love this church, liturgy, and people. It is a caring community, actively practicing God's love for all peoples. There are ministries to engage everyone in the practice of their faith, including children. Our music team is phenomenal! We welcome you - whoever you are and wherever you are in your faith journey.

I really enjoy coming to church - even as a high school student. The music is amazing and our church community is welcoming. It's a quick drive from Leawood and Overland Park. If you are you are looking for a family friendly church St. Mary Mag is worth a visit!

Choosing a parish is a spiritual event. My experience when visiting St. Mary Mag. was one of hospitality and welcome. The liturgy of the Episcopal Church is different in each parish, and I have found my experience here enjoyable, with a positive yet challenging message from the sermon that reminded me why I am a Christian. The music was fabulous and will be returning. These are nice people with focus on youth ministry and outreach in mind.

St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church is the most welcoming and dedicated church community I have ever been a part of. I especially like the focus on outreach ministries and missions. They are very family friendly, with child care for families who need it, and youth group activities, too. The location is convenient to south Kansas City, Leawood, Belton, Loch Lloyd, and Overland Park, and a great place for weddings.
